Instead of porting every Final Fantasy game to death on various consoles over the years. I wish they would just make a new 2D Final fantasy. Atleast in 2D the main character doesn't look like a 15 year old boy cosplaying at comic con like all of the 3D final Fantasy games. I can't take those seriously.

I like this idea. I think Switch has an RPG called Octo Traveler or something like that and is 2D. Haven't played it though.

FFIV and FFVI (2 and 3 in US) are my favorite.

Octopath is ok. Basically 8 different characters to chose from with 8 different background stories to play and all eventually intertwine together to save the world. Decent graphics, good stories, but very basic gameplay.

I for one really miss RPGs with great magic/Summons. The FF Tactics games on GBA/DS/PSP and Golden Sun series on GBA were the last 2d games I remember having summons. That was all the way back in 2007. I'm sure there have been a few more but they seem to be so few and far between compared to the 90s/early 2000s where the majority of RPGS had them.

I've got it at the top of my "play next year" list.
I'm at the Elden Ring end game (1st playthrough) and just finishing up some stuff I missed before I start Shadow of the Erdtree. Then it will be CoD Black Ops 6 for the rest of the year after it's released; looking forward to the beta this weekend!

Yeah some of those top tier games have taken a ridiculous amount of time to come out. The Last new Mario Kart came out 2014, Gears of War 2019, Uncharted 2017, etc.

All they do these days is come out with a half ass game and keep updating it instead of making a new game. Last real Elder Scrolls game was Skyrim in 2011...since then they have released it 5 times Legendary edition, game of the year edition, Anniversary edition, special edition, 10th anniversary edition, etc. Then that weak online game....just give us a new real game please.

Games like Fortnight, Rocket League, PUBG, etc just keep chugging along with no big improvements/changes. They are going to milk the same games until eternity.

I actually beat him quicker than some other bosses. But my timing is junk.

Spider dude was the hardest boss in my opinion. I didn’t know about the needle trick so his second phase was annoying.

Took me one try only because I had the needle. I didn’t know he was tough until watching some videos of people trying without it. Then I was real happy I went and got it first.

Been really enjoying Cult of the Lamb recently. Got it on sale with all of the dlc and have been pleasantly surprised.
