Great great game by Sano. And great game as a team overall. These last two wins were the type of wins they needed to hopefully get back on track. Now let's get the sweep on the Rangers tomorrow afternoon and then welcome Cleveland to town. I'll be at the game Saturday, 7 rows up from the Twins dugout.

This blowout win tonight was HUGE. The worst thing that could have possibly happened was for us to come out flat. A 10 run win after yesterday's walk off should put us back in the right direction again. This could start a nice run for us. Let's keep this going!!!

Fun fact, I've been going thru my Twins cards a lot lately working on a little (massive, actually) project of mine, and I caught this cool little reference- Mauer/Morneau card in '11 Heritage is totally a reference to the Killebrew/Allison card in '67 Topps. Just a cool little thing I found

Pretty big blow to the rotation now that Hughes is going to the DL. May getting the nod tomorrow which I think he will do fine, but Duffy starting again Saturday. Ugh

Yup, it doesn't hurt to give him a spot start up here to get his feet wet. If he doesn't do well, he just goes back to AAA. If he does well, then you can still send him back or keep him up until Hughes and/or Milone are ready.
