Thanks! The picture does not do any justice with the sparkle foilboard shine. It shines and sparkles well in person. I love this parallel!

Last night thru probstein a psa 10 diamond and cognac closed and for the first time that I’ve even seen, the cognac outsold the diamond. 11,200 to 11,050. Not bad!

I was watching them as well and surprised they both exceeded $10k.

Well it makes sense because here are the PSA pop reports for the Cognac and Diamond Trouts.

Cognac - 30 PSA 8, 135 PSA 9, 93 PSA 10
Diamond - 13 PSA 8, 79 PSA 9, 294 PSA 10

Totally agree. pop report speaks for itself and I’ve been preaching that for a while. But for the last year the diamond has consistently outsold the cognac by around 1-2k. Nice to see it get some love.

I didn’t realize there were that many Diamond PSA 10’s. That make sense.

Cognac was undervalued, relative to the Diamond. About time it caught up.

The diamond is wayyy nicer looking though, IMO.

Correct. And to be clear, I would pay more for a Diamond than a Cognac every day and twice on Sunday.

My latest pickup. After getting rid of my 12 BC Orange I felt like I needed something a little more limited than just a few PSA 10 rookies. So, I moved a couple of them to pick this up. When I was first getting into Trout rookies I always wanted to grab a PSA 10 Sterling but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. I still think it's his best looking non-Update RC out there, so to finally get the refractor version is huge for me.

I'm not a BGS person, but I assume they have a reholder option like PSA. Do they ever do this at shows or is it only done by mailing it in? There's a piece of something below his right arm inside the case and it's annoying the crap out of me. Plus it looks like someone played catch with this thing or something. Scratches all over.

a follow up with some good news! After being lost for over 3 weeks, and at one point told by the USPS worker in Tigard "yeah, if its been lost for over 2 weeks, its not here, i dont think it will ever show up"... well. IT SHOWED UP. The 2011 Finest Trout Auto that i sent out to Oregon to be auctioned with PWCC finally appeared. Perhaps total coincidence, but on Tuesday i had a lengthy conversation with the USPS claims department, letting them know i had notified Portland Police department and filed a $5,000 claim with USPS (highest i could for the method i shipped)... one hour later my package that had been lost and "looked for" over the last 3 weeks, was found and delivered.

Maybe i over reacted when i started sounding the alarm on message boards, but losing that card woulda been a huge loss for me. Anyways, itll be in the PWCC November auction so i didnt want any of you guys to see it and be like "hey wait, that kid posted about that in blowout!"

Got lucky on a single Chronicles blaster last night and pulled this. What do you guys think? Sell it raw or grade and sell? I'm not really a baseball guy so I'm not sure how the community feels about Panini baseball, and if they're really going to hold any value long term or not.
