How many HR's did Kevin Maas hit in his Home Run Derby career?

Tip of the hat to the chosen Juan!
He did good, but I am biased.

Just picked up another HMT55; kind of surprised there wasn't more interest in the card.

I picked up the one that ended at $227; not a great deal based on the last couple of sales (down slightly from 1-month Card Ladder average of $245), but I (1) am not looking to flip anytime soon and (2) believe in Soto for the long-term. I also would've expected a spike tonight in particular, especially since this was *after* the Ohtani matchup.

Long didn’t throw very well. Too much pitch to pitch variance in addition to the overall tightness of the location. Was still fun to see Soto vs Ohtani. Neither was going to beat Alonso, who seems to have been born just for this event.

That was great, especially nice to see the battle between Juan and Othani.
Alonso seems to has figured out the HR derby, which good for him as he made almost the same amount of money from the last 2 Competition’s than he has in the last 2 years. This hopefully will help him get paid next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Didn’t he earn more over the last three years from HRD than his salary? This year I believe his salary is $670k… and HRD winner gets $1MM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wonder if he’ll use a slightly more vertical stance in games going forward. Seems like it would help him get elevation on balls down in the zone.

I'm cautiously optimistic that he will be able to get his balls up in the air more.

agreed, you have naturally more of an uppercut swing on low pitches when standing upright, rather than swinging straight through the strike zone on an even plane. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Soto: Longest HR @ 520 feet bomb to right center upper upper deck. Story, Ohtani 500+ too
Really liked the clutch 3 for 3 dingers @ the end! Great showcase for that quick fluid swing...BUY BUY BUY and HODL Plus it was TV Gold with Juan get the "King Treatment" From Tatis Jr and the towel fans and face towel pats...LOL Last edited by Cards and 401K; 07-13-2021 at 10:53 AM. |
