4/22 1/13 from 3...

Whenever I think the NBA product isn't that good, I watch a college game and I'm reminded... The NBA is fine lol

I'd rather watch players still be good while not trying as opposed to players trying, but being miserable to watch .

At the moment, the winning team is up 18 shooting 38.6% lol

Clempson scored 13 in the first half and a lot of folks were using that to bash the ACC. Tennessee just score 15 in the first half. “But it’s different when they do it!”

The ACC was awful this tournament (and really this whole year) except for Duke. 2 of your 4 teams lost to lower seeds, and played terrible. UNC won 1 game but was later waxed by a SEC team.

This is not the year for this comment

Clemson...13 points against #12 seed Mcneese St...

Tennessee..15 points against #1 seed, #2 ranked overall, and known defensive stalwart Houston..

Yes..it clearly IS different

I would recommend deleting your post if it wasn't already quoted a couple times. Did you pull anything making this reach?

I just realized Auburn is playing an hour from campus. How is that fair? I don't think any team should be given home games in the NCAA Tournament. Simply not fair for the other teams. If they win, it'll be all four No. 1s advancing to the Final 4. Would be cool to see if they paired it up to where Auburn and Florida could play for the championship (if Auburn holds on at home to win).

Yea, Barnes did not have them ready to play. I don't think it was anything Houston did or didn't do. Tennessee just wasn't ready to play, and that surprises me.

This is nothing compared to the home games Duke and NC had in the first couple rounds for decades.

NCAA needs some regional bias, so fans don't have to go cross country to see their team.

Ph just another tourney where all four No. 1 teams made it. NCAA got it right this year. Let’s hope for an all SEC final. Would love to see auburn and Florida.

Did you bring this up when Purdue was playing in Indianapolis against Houston? Not banging on you, actually curious. It's one thing for a #1 team to be close to home but when a #4 team gets a virtual home game in the Sweet 16, something is not right.

The POD system started in 2002 with the purpose of reducing travel for teams and fans.

As far as Duke and NC, they have been #1 or #2 seeds how many times? Teams seeded that high have earned the right to have games close to home IMO.

No cause I didn’t know they were in Indy. I didn’t watch that game. But yes same idea. Of course they didn’t win.

I see that side but plenty of 1 seeds never played in state as consistently as those 2 did.

Here's 2005 for example... Charlotte was as south as they went, and Duke/NC played their 1st 2 games in Charlotte. other 1 seeds were Washington who played in Boise and Illinois who played in Indiana.

Name me 1 good reason why the 1st weekend games had to be in Charlotte for those 2??

You're really trying harder than you should and making it easy. All four of those teams were #1 seeds and earned the right to play at the closest possible pre-determined pod location. The pod locations aren't assigned after the brackets are announced. You know this, right?

Illinois had a slightly shorter trip than either Duke or UNC.

Illinois Champaign, IL to Indianapolis, IN 1:54
Duke Durham, NC to Charlotte, NC 2:04
NC Chapel Hill, NC to Charlotte, NC 2:07
Washington Seattle, WA to Boise, ID 7:07

Since you are the one with the beef, what's your proposal for where these top 4 seeds should have played in the 1st two rounds?
