No kidding. I ordered supplies from USPS earlier this year that took nearly a month to arrive. Glad to have an update -- thank you x2.

Cubs are looking good. Sox aren't on my radar at all. And Lourdes is slowly dragging his average up out in the desert.

Here's some of what I found and had to keep. Angels stuff, because of their AA team (not because of Trout or ohtani). Detroit stuff. Various players I remember watching. I'm not a high end collector at all, so I like a lot of baseball parallel cards and inserts. Lots of neat stuff in here

Yes! Awesome stuff! Thank you for posting, DetroitTN. I really like that Cecil card and the Crunch Brett + Squirt Jackson. Very cool. I also like seeing the minor league club names in neon. Neat Shockey die cut, too. The Rickey is a classic.

Trip was great and the box was a lot of fun. I was especially excited about a shiny gwynn insert, a few rookie cards that I don’t have in my collection, and a handful of pro debut chromes that will help me with my set.



I have a stack of serial numbered/autos/parallels plus an oddball card or two to top off the box. I’m also going to grab another flat rate box to pack this stuff up, this one is looking a little worse for wear.

I’ll reach out to WizardofOz1982 for contact info and get the box out by Monday.

Box is en route to Wizard now.

I think my favorite part of this was the total randomness as I pulled stacks out of the boxes. I realize there would be value in re-organizing (and would happily do that and pay the shipping if you all wanted to give me another week or two at some point), but honestly it's kind of fun to all of a sudden hit on a run of hockey, or non-sport, or 80s k-mart cards, or mid-2010s USA baseball autos. The whole experience was super enjoyable.

I've really tried hard to narrow my collecting focus in the last 2 years. Before that, I would have been pulling stuff left and right. This time the real joy for me was seeing the wide range of cards, remembering fun players I watched or some set I used to collect, handling the crazy orange and red bowman refractors of no-name players, and finally picking out the stuff that has a good spot in my collection.

Thanks to Bunny for moving this along, and to everyone who has participated and added cards to the box. I have the list of cards I contributed and I'll definitely be excited when someone posts a pic saying they added something to their own collection.
