If I was the Pelicans I'd throw a dumb contract at Duncan Robinson and Gary Trent Jr in restricted free agency and force the Heat and Blazers hands. I'd also before the deadline trade Lonzo plus for Kyle Lowry. Eric Bledsoe for literally anything, and JJ Reddick to a contender that thinks he'll be able to shoot again.

If you can pull all of this off and keep Ingram in the process, that’s a fierce team. I’ve called for trading BI but only because I think it may be the only way to obtain the assets they need. Would love to be proven wrong on this though.

Just finished watching the game... Does Lonzo even want to play in the NBA? I mean he looks disinterested and obviously cannot shoot.

All of the pieces around Zion are basically the wrong ones. No one can shoot and BI demands 20 contested mid range jumpers per game. I've never seen a less effective pick and roll. Zion sets a lazy screen at the top and then when he rolls he gets a pass 1 out of 10 times. Just for a second imagine if Zion had the chance to run that with Chef Curry. MWWWWAH! Masterpiece.

Zion uncorked that 3 in the second quarter and I couldn't believe it. Had to rewind and watch again. I vote for 2 of those per game. Mandatory.

they just got to release bledsoe, so glad the bucks got rid of him. Hes just so unaware of who he is on the floor. Lonzo is miserable. BI doesnt pass. Zion has serious superstar all world potential. Just got to be put better pieces around him.

value's probably going down due to the team looking worse (long-term) than it sounded before the season.. bledsoe and lonzo (surprisingly) along with steven adams is a terrible fit for zion or just winning in general. i dont think it'll be a short term thing to surround zion with the right pieces, looking at the extension they just threw at adams it doesn't seem like the front office completely knows what theyre doing either

I was probably over optimistic on Lonzo but it just isnt working. There are just too many bad shots leading to transition points the other way and when you have a player as efficient as Zion on offense you just cant have that.
