any guesses on what the 2011 update Black BGS 7.5 will end at tonight? Its currently at 4800 (was up to over 7k but a bid must of been retracted) and is ending tonight. Ive been searching for a black boarder for my PC but will only be able to afford something "low grade" so i think this is my best shot.
Currently have all my cards laid out on my floor like "well if i sell this, this and this, i could put a bid up to xxxx". think it will make it over 10k???

I dont think it will pass 10K solely because of the holidays. Bad timing on the sale. The grade is irrelevant.

Can you provide a link to the auction so we can all follow it with you?

Ended at $15,100! What do you think BO? High or low price? Did the 7.5 influence the price or was grade irrelevant?

Are all PWCC are now private listings???

Default **The Perennial MIKE TROUT Thread**

I was in up to 11,500 and it blew by that pretty quick! A bgs 9 went for 35k a month go so I guess 15 sounds about right.
Damn, woulda loved to add that to the pc. What a card.

Edit: yeah about a month or so ago all pwcc auctions are private bidders. Not sure their reasoning behind that...

I watched it with no intentions of bidding unless it was at crazy low. Like a lot reading in here probably. A tad low I think but it wasn't the best time to sell the card. So if you mix all the ingredients in it went a little low but not unreasonably low. Good buy for whomever bought it though. Value wise, investment wise and PC wise. Great card to own. Condition shouldn't matter much unless it's Gem or better. PWCC had some decent cards listed Tuesday including not Trout stuff. I bid on some, won one.

I am not up on the prices of all the other parallels compared to black?

Is the black more in demand than the other lower print run parallels? What would a Cognac in similar condition sell for?

Black is numbered out of 60, so it’s extremely rare. I looked up beckett and PSA pop counts today and only about 30 have been graded in total.

A 7.5 cognac would probably be around 1500-2k

After the black and hope, I think the red is the lowest PR parallel

I recently pulled from 2020 Topps Archives a Mike Trout giant card (among others through the summer/fall), 640-MT.

are there plastic holders or sheets for these bigger cards?

Was pretty pleased to land my first 1/1 trout. I really enjoy the museum collection art cards and hope to gather a few more. Picked up a nice Trevor story as well.

Ya there’s definitely some real painful ones out there, and some downright awful and ugly ones. Both artists here seem to be among the shortlist of more desirably cards, for obvious reason (IMO).

I noticed the Story card may have a little mistake on it next to his hat above his ear on the right side where the artist might have covered something up. I actually enjoy that it’s not perfect.

my lcs leases display cases to local sellers, many cases but usually not a whole lot interesting, it's mainly low end cards that don't move quickly or for much money on ebay, and I assume it's not worth their time to list.

Anyways one of them was fully loaded with the stuff we all chase so I ponied up for a PSA 9, it is the first time I have owned one since fall 2011 went I pulled one from a pack and then promptly sold it the following spring on craiglists along with the rest of the box's contents for what I assume was not a lot of money.

Go me.
