I can no longer sell this item due to it being opened and not NIB and offer him half of his purchase price which is $65. He declines and has now started the process in shipping it back and left negative feedback with a picture of the razor out of the package.

Do I have any recourse here? I should still be able to offer him $65 back when I get it back, right? I wish I could give him nothing, but I'm not going to push my luck.
How long has it been since purchase?

Ebay will tell you regardless to take it back then go from there. You might even have the option to give a 50% refund when the item arrives. If so do that and Ebay should remove the neg.

I had a buyer purchase an item on October 21st message me on December 14th saying the item worked fine for a few weeks and then quit he wanted a refund. I told him to open a claim with Ebay. He never did instead just negged me Ebay reffused to remove the neg because he never opened a claim, which is honestly why I wanted him to do it.

When you get it back I would look at what individual parts sell on it and go from there. Sometimes those parts can go for more than the actual item.

Amazon woud not even make the buyer return the item. Truth be told all these outlest are buyer first. The CC companies control alot of that attitude.

He purchased it a couple weeks ago. He definitely opened the item because he attached a picture along with his negative feedback.

I'm into this razor for a total of $5. It's not about the money at this point, it's about the principle. He has shipped it back, but I have yet to receive it. The neg should be removed, but it's my first one so I'm not too worried about it. I'd like to keep half the money as with the item being a razor, I can't really sell a razor out of the package with it being somewhat new (released in the past 15 years, I believe) due to obvious reasons. I was up front in the listing and hid nothing. I told the guy the battery function wouldn't work. He took a chance and lost. That's part of the game.

I could maybe sell the blades, but even those would be a hard sell with it not being in the original package as the buyer may have a hard time believing they were never used.

I'm fully expecting eBay to side with me on this, but won't be shocked if they don't. Oh well. I'll make it up with other sales.

Just got un underpaid shipping dispute from eBay. Said my package was 15lbs. It was a tin trash can that weighed 3lbs. They charged me another $7.50. I placed a phone call to USPS so we'll see what happens. Don't really understand that one.

I drop all my packages off at the post office and get a receipt. They weigh each item and weight is listed on receipt. No way around that.

Dimensional weight because it was slight larger than what you measured. Or multiple items on the scale when the weight was checked would be my guess.

I’ve never had this happen before in four years of shipping things and all of the sudden I’ve had two in the past week. Like you, they’re charging me way more than it should be to ship each item.

My weirdest on was when they refunded me on a package saying I overpaid. They charged it for media mail. It was not shipped media.

I think with the weights sometimes 2 packages will get stuck together and the wrong package get scanned so wrong weight gets entered. But that still don't explain mine. Of course I am not going to go fussing about the refund either

Well that was easy. Got the returned item back today. Called eBay and was told to refund 50% and the case would be closed. I uploaded pictures of the item having been opened, wrote a small piece on why the 50% deduction and gave the guy half his money back and they closed the case for me.

They said if they do refund the guy the rest of his money it will come from them and not me. We'll see, but hopefully that's the end of it.

Ok, some of you guys might have used this box, what label can this be shipped under?
It's not a flat-rate box.

Not sure what you're asking. It can only be shipped as regular priority mail. I use the box all the time.

How much does it cost? What is the option you chose when printing the label, also what's the weight limit on this?

The cost varies on how much it weighs and where it is going. Shipping anything in that box is no different than using your own box. The only difference is it must be shipped regular priority mail. Depending on where it is going and its weight it could be $7.20 at the least or $80+. There is no discount or perks for using that box.

Thanks found how to ship it. I mostly just shipped cards or used flat-rate boxes.

That's how it typically works. They refund the other 50%. They also remove any feedback that may have been left

Had a decent day at my first estate sale of year. Found a couple of 80s concert tees for 1.00 each. A couple of barely used ping drivers and a few other odd and end items

Got a old Tori Amos concert shirt in great condition, the sound track to romper stomper (I've wanted this for some time but man people charge a lot for it), and of no value to anyone else I took apart my fathers snoopy telephone that was a employee gift for at&t employee who clocked in 25 years and got it aesthetically finished. I have no reason to repair the interior I haven't had a land line in like 15 years. The first two things found in this out of the way used movies/music/video games store I finally had the time to go check out.

Sorry that ones going no farther than my closet. I try to have a concert shirt for everyone I've seen live. For the record it's about an xl. I used to be a medium, now I'm trying to lose weight and back myself into the expense of buying clothes. But with Tori I am not sure how much, if any, future touring she'll be doing at her age. But hell the rolling stones still tour. I suffered a really bad leg/back injury a while back which has kept me mostly immobile. I gained a few.

Made a pretty good gu goes score. Several figures but best part lots of parts. Got parts from the rolling thunder, mobile command center and terrordrome. While others at sale were fighting over the actual items they had most of tge parts and pieces in other bags for sale. Sucks for them...

Double check your mobile command center parts. They released that thing twice and some parts differ leading to big differences in price.

Thoughts on this Jimmy Carter signature? I found this book a few years ago at a small thrift store for $0.25.

Out of all the years I have been Thrifting, my absolute favorite thing to pick up is sealed, vintage, cross, stitch kits. Because it seems that thrift stores never pick up on how valuable these can be. The one in the picture above should sell between $75-$100 as it is brand new . Christmas cross stitch kits sell probably the best anytime I see a sealed cross stitch kit. I always scan it as there is usually always a barcode.
