That's what I thought the first time our Chief asked me to videotape and take photos at an actual firefighter funeral. And now I've done 4 of them.

This was basically a parade.

Glen, you might get your wish and not see me this year. Maine has 56 deaths only and yet their State Fire Association already cancelled their convention for September.

FT, you can still go up there and do that. Now that can be your main focus instead of your secondary one.

The monkey can be seen cycling down a narrow street before grabbing a toddler off a bench and then dragging him along the ground. Confused adults can be seen nearby.

If you see the video, the monkey was on a leash. Monkey grabbed the toddler and held on, while the handler was pulling on the leash.

From what I've seen in the past, the quotes are somehow blank.

My sister saw the late local news a couple of hours ago. Apparently our local state Senator wants people to call his office who are struggling to get through to unemployment. Guess what I will be doing when I get up. It's worth a shot. This coming Saturday will mark 3 months since I first filed.

Thank you chez. Friends I worked with that were full-time filed 3 weeks ago and have gotten theirs. In the media here the date March 15 is usually mentioned when it comes to the unemployment mess. Truth is that I am proof the mess started way before that. I am probably not alone. It would not surprise me if hundreds, if not thousands, of people who filed before March 15 are still waiting.

It like we are a part of a "lost generation" of sorts...completely forgotten about.

Unemployment systems are broken all across the country. I'm sure the States will be begging the Federal Government for money to fix these too instead of paying for it themselves thanks to their years of neglect.

It's nice to know that at least one of your State Senators cares about his constituents and wants to help. With the issues Maryland has been having, it's been crickets from the State Government which the local news has been blasting them over.
