I'm not sure if you meant to say Hodges wasn't in the '53 set, but I confirmed he was not included. This is even more of a reason to feature him with the Brooklyn Dodgers in the Living Set. Either way, still happy to have another Hall of Fame player.

Yes. Sorry he Wasn’t. Close to 400 career HRs primarily as a dodger.

Yeah I get the manager card particularly the famous team he led to a WS Title, but man this seems like a miss.

Here's Gil as a Dodger from the 1991 Topps Archives 1953 reprint set, which also featured a "Cards That Never Were" subset, so Hodges was already a big miss nearly 35 years ago. It must've not been in the budget for illustrations on these new cards, hence the photograph and Photoshop background color tint.

There are something like 50 cards in that subset with the photos already chosen, and the card backs written. I'd love to see the Living Set masters (or a new artist) tackle all 50 of those cards as, for the first time, an illustrated expansion of the original 1953 set.

Consider removing the cap of 5 signed prints and have them open for a week or so (similar to Jared / Angel). I can easily see someone buying all 5 prints of a big name player (see the 100 Mantle purchase) in an attempt to flip.

Were you able to order one?

I know Jared and Angel both use Artspan, and I haven't experienced any issues with it.

When I try to checkout it says: "One or more items in your cart have been updated. Please refresh your browser."

I am in Windows 11 stock chrome. It briefly looks like it's trying to go to paypal before that error appears.

I have dropped all data and tried a few times.

The payload to /checkout has a weird discount code of "test" alongside the item data and the response is {"valid":false,"error":{"type":"paypal_error"}} as a 422 meaning Unprocessable Content so I'm guessing something is up. When I capture this as a curl and drop it into xterm and remove the discount code from the payload, I still see the same error so that's not it.

Jose Ureña just signed with the Angels. He already played for the Mets, Dodgers, Toronto, and Minnesota earlier this year.
Anyway, can we get 5 new cards of him this next week?

He has an LS card with his first team (Miami), and played for 5 other teams after them, but before this year, so he's been on 11 different teams so far. The record was previosly held by Edwin Jackson alone, with 14, but Rich Hill joined him this year when he signed with the Royals.

Sometimes it’s easy to overlook a release when it’s not the biggest name in the game.

Having in hand, this is easily one of my favourite prints in the set. The details in the wrinkles in the jersey, logo, old school feel, 206 like background , and what I’ll call the Jared-Effect on the bling and shoulders make this one great. Another example of the card release hiding some great detail vs the print. Glad to have the /1.

Curious to see the print run for the Hodges because the bundle pre-sellers on eBay are all sold out. First time this year waiting until the last minute has bitten me in the ass. D'oh!
