Use it when needed, I'm not accusing you of being a dick I don't know you. But avoid getting a rep for cancelling stuff that "sold too low". I run 1 dollar no reserve auctions only. Some auctions are downright painful to see end.

Nope if they want you to ship to a different address or via a different method you can cancel. I have never had them not remove one in these cases

Yeah I can't imagine running dollar auctions. If I do run auctions I usually run it $10-$15 below previous solds and take what I can get. Do you charge shipping? I know you can make some money off shipping since eBay charges buyers retail prices and sellers get a discount if shipping through eBay.

And just to answer, I don't cancel any of my items unless I find an error when packaging or I did something wrong when listing the item. I've taken a bath on some items, but that's mainly due to offering free shipping which I've started to get away from on larger items.

Then why run them?

If I do auctions I start at 99 cents or less and let it go. It's often to just get rid of stuff even if it means selling at a loss.

Auctions also seem to boost ratings in the algorithm and are great to keep sales transactions up and those are proven to boost the algorithm
Had an item last night was listed in my store for over a year at 29.99. It was part of the purge I am doing. It ended last night at 43.00 and was paid for immediately

I did go late yesterday day a church sale found on a clothing rack 5 Jeff gordon shirts from the 90s early 2000s and a vintage budweiser tee. 3 of the Gordon's were all over prints one has comps in the 125.00 range another in the 60 dollar range. The others are around 25.00 each. The budweiser shirt has comps of 40.00 so pretty good for 3.00.

Just shows even late sales can be good

that is mostly what I look for, occasionally at Goodwill's but mostly find tons at city library book sales. Tonight found at a Goodwill one of Olympian Karen Chen. At libraries have found signed books of Joe Montana, Mickey Mantle, Anthony Bourdain, Bill Clinton. I have found 3 signed President Jimmy Carter books in different locations. Guess total about 200 signed books, nearly all $1-2 each

I always look in the books at my Goodwill but have only ever found two signed books, Tony Dungy and John Smoltz. Not bad but no presidents yet. And definitely no Mickey Mantle.

I normally just find author signed copies. This bar far sets the bar for my best book find. In all honesty i grabbed it to look at because it was BBQ and Nolan Ryan!

This is great to know! Thank you. I actually own this game. Bought it a couple years ago and have never played it since. I'll be sure to put it up on eBay now.

I found the same a few years ago haha. I always see her books at thrift stores. 2 most common books found in thrift stores are either her book or weight loss/diet books lol. She did do a book signing here when she released the book. I have also found Jim Nantz, Willie Aikens, Ed Hearn x2, Bob Dole, Nia Vardalos, Bill Glass, Eric Greitens (former Missouri governor), Laura Ingraham (Fox News) over the years. If I see an autobiography I'm checking to see if it is signed

Our local libraries have bookstores in them and I usually find some great deals on books/CDs/DVDs.

Must have gained steam in the past couple of years. I sat on one for a while for around 30.00. I have passed on several since due to that

Yeah I have no idea what the deal is. Every time I saw it in Barnes and nobles I always thought “what a cool game”, but never bothered to buy it.

Made a nice score today at the bins on dollar day. 21 brand new HP ink cartridges that are unexpired and they are all the same number. Should bring $20 each

Great pick up at the state sale today. Both boxes of department 56 Christmas for $100. The Budweiser Clydesdale will sell for 150 on its own. Got some other items as well too. That’ll make me good money. Overall paid $180 , close to thousand dollars or more with total sales.

Nice pick up! I've had a lot of luck selling Dept 56 stuff, obviously more luck around the holidays but even after the holidays it still moves well.

Took a big gamble for $100 on an Atari 2600 with all cords, paddles, a joystick. Came with 52 games. I know Crazy Climbers is good. What do you think? Did I do good or a mistake?
