Can anyone help me figure out how to offer discounted shipping on a single listing that has the YOU PICK YOUR CARD option? If people add multiple cards to their cart it charges $1.25 shipping each, but I would like to offer a discount if multiple are purchased. Any help is appreciated!

The Grand Experiment is in the books, although it will take 2-3 days for the data to go through its revisions.
I am now conducting a Mini Experiment. I have changed everything back to the proper shipping charge and reset the inventory again. The reason I'm testing this is there was a pretty big bump on the 1st day of the Grand Experiment, out of line with the rest of the week. In theory the sell similar bump should have been completely wiped out by having a 100% 1st day inventory that was compared to another 100% 1st day inventory. In practice, it may or may not have worked like that. We'll see if I get another sell similar bump this week compared to last week, if it's flat, or if it drops down a little (ideally by a similar amount as the free shipping bump). This will be a one day thing, because I have too much stuff that needs to be done that hasn't been controlled for that I can no longer wait on.

The good news is traffic was down when I changed everything back to a shipping charge. Once the data is revised it will likely be down almost exactly what it was up the week before. That means I did indeed tease out the free shipping bump.

So if someone is claiming that they never received their card, but eBay tracking says it has been delivered I am covered; correct? It’s only a $4 card but still don’t wanna have to deal with the hassle

On a 4.00 card honestly if they did not have an attitude I would just refund anyway without blocking just chalk it up to one of those things. |

Yeah, ESE doesn't get scanned for the actual delivery. It shows delivered when it is scanned at the last scan point. It's common for them to actually get delivered a day or two after tracking shows them as delivered. And that means if the card got lost between the last scan point and the buyer's mailbox, then they would be SOL. If the buyer claims they didn't get it, they're probably being truthful and you're covered with the ESE insurance anyway.
Most people that try to scam on ESE do it from the other direction - card gets delivered but tracking never shows it delivered (very common) so they claim they never received it. |

Over 400 sales this past month and just missed out on 1k for the quarter by 1 sale. Had the most sales to date.
Had some larger items sell due to getting back a very good PSA sub (95% 10s and the ones that missed were older and not expected to get a 10). Going to pick up sending cards for grading and do an order each month so I will have an order come back each month to boost sales. Have over 10k items (mainly cards) listed. Started with just over 3.3k cards from the beginning of the year. CDP has helped out a ton, but will scale back my listing totals going into this month (will buy scans though when needed). Been going through my card show cards since I won't do one til next year and will either be listing them for sale on eBay, or going off to PSA/SGC and then listing them on eBay or for a show next year. Want to get fresh inventory for next years show by selling off some graded cards, and whatever is in those boxes.

Thans to Saturday my month was about average still seeing a trend of less items higher price. Did sell more cards thus month they made up about 12% of sales but that was expected as I continue to liquidate my collection and continue phasing cards out to around 5%. Vintage toys and electronics are boosting me

I'm going to go thru this week and update my ESE listings with a shipping charge, while lowering the price of the items overall. I'll be using Business Policies, and charging a lesser amount for additional items to encourage additional sales.
I'm attempting to add an additional Business Policy for USPS Ground Advantage to those listings to offer both options (with the same lesser amount for additional items to encourage additional sales), but I'm not seeing a way to add the additional Business Policy to the listing. I always used to think it was really easy to add the additional shipping option, but maybe it's not as easy since I'm using Business Policies now?

I always try to get ahead and get items scheduled to list so I am not panicking or having to stay up late to get a set of cards to list the next or same day. It seems like a lot of my sales are just random cards too or bulk of a certain player, team or year. Helps to have a hodge podge of items too from various years, brands and sports.

I was able to figure it out by adding the USPS GA option to my ESE Business Policy. I also figured out how to incorporate the small additional fee ($0.50/per) into my policies for the ESEs and USPS GAs, so I’m hoping to see more bulk low-dollar items move in the coming weeks.

I think positive Buyer & Seller feedback more or less says the same thing, communicates the same message. But what should I make of identical feedback, down to punctuation & grammar, from different handles, often in the same week?
Now, I haven’t had any issues with anybody; it’s really just a curiosity thing. Maybe some algorithmic peculiarity? Or perhaps a million monkeys on a million keyboards are out there bangin’ out Feedback. I’ll hang up and listen. |

One issue I have noticed with the higher price but fewer item sales my transaction count has slipped to where I could fall out of the 3 month evaluations to the 12 months.

Easily fixed. Grab some cheap sports cards and run them at 1¢ w free shipping. You might lose a quarter per auction, so weigh that against the number of transactions you'd need to stay above the line.

September sales update; it was slow, but ended up almost even with August in both $ and packages. I was shut down for 10 days in August, so really a 30% drop. More than double last year though. I continue to be carried by higher than average $ per package.
The baseball fiscal year starts Oct. 1. If I look at my sales over the last 12 months (fiscal 2023), I was about 2.1x for $ and about 3x for packages sent. For the calendar year I've still got a chance to hit my revenue goal. I'm currently at 1.3x all of 2022. Compared against only the first 9 months I am just a hair behind the goal of 2x. I'll probably fall a little farther behind that 2x goal in October, then start gaining ground again in November. For my cash/inventory goal, I wanted to be at 20/15 and I'm going to end up around 16/19. Close, but not quite. I've still got about 10 days, but I'm just not moving much right now. Without a monster performance by Yordan getting me a sale on my biggest card I'm going to fall short.
