There is every chance, they will use other people as scapegoats who shouldn’t be and bring Cashman back to finish his job of ruining the Yankees for another decade.

Maybe but teams are doing similar, a kid gets hot and he's promoted. Nothing to lose really...and it looks like Boone and most of the staff will take the fall, Cashman will be spared. Which is sad. He gave Boone almost nothing to work with, he needs to be held accountable too.

Promote Florial before you promote Dominguez. No reason for Cordero to still be on our 40-man, add Florial and bring him up to get some ABs... problem is there is nowhere for Florial to play everyday since they won't sit Stanton.

I do tend to fall on the side it’s usually the GMs fault, I feel like managers in general have a much smaller effect on a team than most think they do

Cashman should go, I mean I feel like anyone from the outside in questioned how he built the roster. Very little handedness diversity, the Donaldson trade was awful. I was so happy as a twins fan to get him off the roster. Honestly probably saved the twins from a potential rebuild lol.

It just seemed like cashman never cared about any kind of depth and a season after in which the Yankees offense was awful in the second half, he did nothing to improve it outside of calling up Volpe and resigning Judge. But resigning someone isn’t actually a move to improve, it’s a move to sustain.

trades like Donaldson and Montas should be enough to get Cashman fired in recency bias. Donaldson was well known to be a locker room cancer, Montas was already injured before the trade.

Those moves show negligence on Cashman's part that are enough to show he doesn't have it anymore
