I feel like they have a collector base that they want now and don't really care about attracting new customers. I mean, nothing they seem to do caters to new collectors. It's more about keeping their whales happy.

Think deep . The users just around the qualifying score needs to hold and keep buying up to the next CS border. While the big whales with 100,000+ Score keep selling off their collection .

I like topshot , made money on topshot and think if they simplify it instead of complicate it the platform still has a chance to succeed.

Extra note: TopShot should run a true public live viewing on random.org for the lotto drops. This secret queue stuff is highly suspect.

He’s not going anywhere. Go check how many times he’s been done with TS and selling all of his moments, yet every pack drop he’s right back in here. Not that there’s anything wrong with that lol.

I do think this whole collector score thing as it is right now is going to have a big negative effect as far as getting new users and non whales to buy into the platform. I really like TS but telling people how they should collect in order to build your collector score and get better packs is really starting to turn me off. Im not interested in Cool Cats or Throw Downs or any of the other sets. It’s not good when you’re finding those who have always supported TS starting to waver.

Collector score will kill this thing combined with the off-season. There’s almost momentum going into the off-season which is always the most difficult time of the year with collectibles. Cards usually rebound due to a history and general acceptance of their value. Will the same be said about Top Shot?

I will add that if Panini builds a successful NFT platform it will be based off their name alone because it sure as hell isn’t going to be successful in terms of accessibility of packs for the general public.
