What's the stock and finish on these like? I was tempted to pick one or two up but a bit unsure of how "high end" they feel

Keller / Friedel / Howard / Guzan was the golden era for US Goalkeepers.

Meola will always be a 'legend' but he wasn't anything on those four.

This reminded me of the USISL championship game I attended in 1995, the Long Island Rough Riders vs. Minnesota Thunder, to watch my college teammate play - he scored the only goal for Minnesota on Meola. Some of the other players in that game are an amazing snapshot of US soccer history:

Tony Sanneh, a few good years in Europe, assisted that McBride goal vs. Portugal in 2002

Mike Masters, first American to score at Wembley

Chris Armas, MLS legend, less of a legend in Manchester and Leeds

Gio Savarese, long time MLS manager

Good thing prices on Select Serie A singles are fairly reasonable.

Finally finished a little side project I’d been working on for some time!

These unnumbered pink pulsars are sneaky rare, both because they don’t fall very frequently per case, and because there are probably a whole bunch of cereal box cases left unopened. It’s also a large 300 player checklist. Once I got a few, I decided to finish the Liverpool team set since these are most of my favorite guys coming off the back of champions league and premier league winnings seasons, plus 1 rookie in Jones who I’ve enjoyed watching grow. There’s very little market for these, so they were affordable while also letting me feel like I’m getting a pretty short printed parallel set that at least I can appreciate. My daughters also like the pink print.

Anyhow, it was fun hunting for these and finally completing the goal this week. But I didn’t expect it to take over a year and a half to track down all 15! I think folks weren’t opening these boxes and if they were, they probably weren’t finding it was worth the time to list them. Thiago was the last one, so maybe his retirement finally had someone decide to list it and get a retirement bump. I immediately obliged for under $5 shipped. A Curtis Jones in England was the most expensive by far, but I just couldn’t track another one down.

Been looking to add a Pulisic auto for some time. Also don't have any NT of any sport at the moment, so happy to add this.

Congrats!

A lot of the 2018 Eminence OG cases look like they have been thrown in a tool box full of nuts and bolts and given a good shake.

Yours looks pristine

Thanks! The seller also had the Barcelona one as well which was nice to see in person. These do not pop up much at all so was happy to work out a deal.

The SoCo Expo was the best thing about the National this year and sounds like it will be a yearly thing too. Honestly may just go for that in the future. Lots of vendors and tables.

Recent pickup delivered to me care of a Mega box purchase at my local Target. Not sure what the odds would be of this happening but I went into it hoping for a numbered Oscar Bobb. I'm standing in line looking at the side of the box and seeing the best I can get is /85 meh....but White cracked ice definitely would be sweet. Just weird is all I can say.
I was going to buy two boxes but decided on just one - worked out perfectly.

nice looking card, the white cracked ice's are pretty sweet! I pulled a Luis Diaz the other day, sure it can be a nice trade piece

Hoping this guy stays healthy this year. Hugely important player and the best natural finisher at the club.

And this was only $5 shipped! /15

I'm new to this game but opened a pack of Inception and got quite lucky I think, first of all it had 8 cards in it.

Went through the first seven and then found the numbered Mbappe.

I really like the Messi though, know it's not an auto or a low number but the fact it's number 19 and that was his shirt number when Unicef first sponsored Barca makes it a bit more special I hope.

You don't deserve that card for posting such a drab scan. Get your cell phone out, head towards some natural light, and repost!

Much like Liverpool’s current transfer policy, my opportunistic pickups continue. This is my 2nd PC red carbon, which have a really great look and low print run. 2019 has an even lower print run but I prefer the design of 2020. Snagged this one on auction for $22 shipped so it made for a happy mail day today!
