This new format of dropping packs is interesting. At least they are trying something new. Hoping for a smooth drop.

Man I hate this. Bots will eat queue-it alive. Us commoners had a better chance before.

There was a captcha after hitting the enter button. Would that not prevent bots or is there already a work around in existence?

Also, there is a new "Code of Conduct". They will freeze accounts that they feel are gaming the system with bots. It would be hilarious if it was similar to what Paypal does. Take your money for every violation.

Thinking a queue based system will help get pax out to the masses and quell the botbois stronghold on a system that doesn't require registration verification on a virtual e-drop?

Yeah, bots won't just eat this crap up. Good jerb.

Your number in line: 20361
Number of users in line ahead of you: 19983

Can't wait till I can withdraw and be done with this nonsense of an endeavor. Decent idea with really piss poor execution.

Your place in line is affixed to your account, so you won't lose it if you exit the webpage.

You'll be behind the botbois and their 398384 anon accounts/vpns.

Yeah, this really hurts my confidence. There were over 15,000 people logged in on Discord but what got me were people saying they were over 100,000 in line. In fairness, just like the cardboard hobby, nobody could have anticipated the type of demand they are seeing. They did state in their blog that they did have to upgrade hardware.

This will grow but I dont see it getting back to its peak(2 weeks ago) until next year.

Hmmm...I am 29493 but a lot of people seemed to have dropped out, so now I'm at 23,000 people ahead of me. We'll see whats left, if any.

My biggest (and I really don't care at this point, because I'm only $45 in), is the lack of real transparency in crypto related projects like this, due to unregulated markets.

There is absolutely nothing from stopping the devs from creating random shill/buying accounts with in-house printed funds (ie, tether) to either drive or crash the market.

It's basically just...like crypto...and exchanges.

Pack drop started at 7:30 PST, bought one pack then was sent to the back of the line, dont think its possible to buy 2 packs in one drop with the amount of people buying

Pressed the buy button as soon as my spot came up.

No different than the cardboard world. We discuss shilling, PWCC and Probstein here all the time. Personally, there is a lot in the sports card world that's seeing the standard "Package A" hype and regular people are left holding the bag. The difference is the floor does change. This is so new it's hard to know where it can go.

There are definitely some that opted out of buying a pack but probably not enough for my 29139 to get called. I fought a good battle at least.

Absolutely true, though this would be more synonymous to Ebay themselves doing the shady business and creating the shill accounts (which is entirely possible).

Again, I really don't care because I'm a Sizzler dinner into this, but I cringe a bit when I see dudes like Pete Jennings touting his latest 6 figure purchase.

Was 10,xxxth in line.

After waiting through 6 minutes of spinning wheels and trying to complete payment with my Dapper balance, it said transaction failed.

This is beautiful.
