It's an interesting thought, the more types of chrome available the less the price for all of them.

It seems like there are less Chrome parallels than Logofractor parallels available. I think the whole missing ESP debacle led to less Chrome being ripped compared with Logofractor. The much larger print run and diluting of individual parallel color in relation to print run for Chrome probably has something to do with it as well.

This all leads to me to believe the ROI for ripping Logofractor is less than what people think.

This may work if buying a poor rookie class year product ( not that there’s any point …. ), but waiting a year when there’s a potential generational talent ( JROD ) could be VERY costly …..

Lots of talent in this class besides Jrod, sure he is the chase right now but in 3-5 years he could be the 3rd to 5th best player in this RC class.

With the major overproduction of base chrome and lack of ESPs in a bunch of the SKUs in addition to the raised MSRP I think LFTC is the product people are going to want. But hard to say for certain until the whole production year is wrapped up.

We still have chrome sapphire and sonic version coming for sure right? and obviously the update versions. Sapphire will be hot but should be relatively limited print run still and demand should outweigh supply.

Finally got around to opening a couple of my boxes this week. First box didn't have anything crazy - got a nice Ohtani base logofractor. Colors were a blue Goldschmidt and purple Jackson Kowar.

2nd box had a Machado pink and a Wander green #69/99. Caught a glimpse of the TB Rays logo on the green Wander and for once it turned out to be the right player!

Had a little in me and decided to rip 10 boxes (for a total of 17 box rips)!

Didn't hit anything crazy but hit some decent cards. Odds-wise, I did great with a Brandon Marsh SP RC and 2 autos (Nootbaar and Yelich green).

I think my best colored parallel was a Soto /99 or possibly a Trevor Story /25 (the latter, not due to player, but due to low print-run).

Also hit 1 Wander base and 2 Cruz base. Sort of funny that my Wander base might be the most valuable card of this 10-box rip.

Value-wise, I think I got close to my buy-in but it'd be a lot of work/effort to piece everything out so I don't know if I'll bother to go that route.

With 17 boxes ripped, I should have close to a complete set. Once I organize my cards, I'll share my needs and be willing to trade my dups for them (should anyone else be looking to complete a set).

Overall, from my 17 boxes ripped, I think I beat the odds with 1 SP RC, 5 autos, 1 orange, 3 golds, etc. I believe my best overall single is a Bryce Harper gold /50.

I ripped the 17 boxes from 3 different Topps.com shipments. I probably should've ripped some from the MLB Store NYC to see if they were more/less loaded than the Topps.com shipments but I didn't think about it until now haha.

This has been one of my most fun rips in recent times. My buy-in was MSRP so that's something to consider when reading this statement. I rip a decent amount of wax across various sports and non-sports and most don't offer such a good return at MSRP (Panini basketball/football has been rough, WWE Prizm has been brutal, soccer hasn't been too bad but I hit some good/rare cards, Pokemon is actually decent). 2022 Finest Flashbacks, Topps 3D baseball and Mickey Mantle X were good rips though.

thanks for sharing all the detail! My dumbass was only able to buy 10 boxes of Logo at msrp. Opened one just to see what the break was like and got 2 numbered and an Altuve auto.

I’m more of a wax hoarder than anything else, and I’m still a fan of Wander long term and obviously J Rod.

Thinking long term if you are a fan of this class the wax to hold seems to be Logo and Lite box along with Sapphire when it comes, along with Finest Flashback. Think i will file away the 9 Logos and 10 FF i have plus as many Sapphires as I can get. Anyone botting Sapphire hit me up, I’m willing to pay tax on boxes lol.

No problem at all! I plan to move my remaining loose boxes (already moved 20) to recoup as much of my initial buy-in as possible. Hoping to sit on 2 sealed cases for “free” or very cheap. Also sold one of my Wander base Logofractors for $99.99 on eBay the other day (to aid the recoup effort).

I agree with your long-term views. I plan to sit on my 6 remaining boxes of FF too (was supposed to be 8 but I gave into my ripping weakness last night).

Definitely plan to get some Sapphire for the long-term hold as well.

I’m a believer in this Wanderful rookie class of JRod, Witt and Franco.

Keeping it in my collection for now so I can enjoy it for a bit. I bought a decent amount of Series 1 chasing a Wander hit and didn't get anything to show for it, so it was nice to pull this one. I might sell it later on down the road, who knows.

Centering alone is a 9 on most of the entire print run
