Max,
I tried it several times and one time 13 Score football came up, next time it was baseball, but no warning came up. I can't believe you revamped the system and didnt have it programed to "search by seller". Quote:

Just did some math on my shipping fees/expenses for Box shipping in April that may be of use to sellers that haven't embraced box shipping, or are still charging too much for it...you can be cheap and come out ahead if your volume is there
My Box rates are about as low as they can be and they are as follows: 1 Card - $.75 2-10 - $.50 11-40 - $1 41-100 - $2.50 101 + $5 I had 68 orders that were Box orders in April. 37 - $.50 19 - $1 10 - $.75 2 - $2.50 Total Shipping fees charged for Box shipping - $50 I shipped 4 packages to the box, (once a week obviously)...the costs to ship those packages to SL using Pirate Ship were $6.91 (x2), $6.89 & $7.00 for a postage total of $27.80. When you figure supplies, which are usually 2 team bags, 2 top loaders, printed invoice & 3" of tape, I'm still on the + side of shipping fees, while providing a dirt cheap postage rate for buyers |

Is anyone else experiencing issues with non-payers in auctions? Seems like half these guys are bidding things up to never pay - BESTLCSW did it pretty bad, winning ~5 auctions (some were going for months) but there are others too. You'd think with nearly a month to settle, it wouldn't be an issue!

Cheap/affordable box shipping is the #1 factor I look for when buying cards that lots of different sellers have on the site. |

Yes, as a frequent buyer also, nothing is more frustrating than going to check out and seeing $3.50 or some garbage for box shipping...those sellers get cleared out of my cart instantly!

I'm sorry, the USPS has HUGE pockets of the country that 1st class packages are taking way longer than that...that really needs to be expanded out further IMO. Earlier this month, I received a PWE eBay card that was postmarked on Jan 31 ...I hadn't even filed a not arrived case yet, but it was on my radar to

All Sellers can set their own "Non Payer Threshold"
Go to "Sell/Preferences/Block Buyers" Then fill out the "Buyer Non-Pay Criteria" and click on the "Apply Block Criteria". This doesn't take affect right away, but is updated a few times/day. Come back to this screen later that day or the following day and you will see the list of buyers that the criteria has blocked. |

There currently is not a "go to page number" feature, but is on our list to get added. However you can click on the double arrows to skip ahead/back 5 pages at a time or the arrow with a line to get to the end/start of the list. Using these can significantly reduce the number clicks.

Anyone know when Heritage Mini is going to be listed on the Sportlots site?

I know I am old, but I'm finding the Sportlots new setup very difficult to navigate, when trying to put together an order. I begin a search, I type in 24 Topps, the first page that comes up is 24 Topps 89 insert set, there's no way to enter a page #, so I had to click 12 times to get to 24 Topps "Base". The old system, you had a list of the 24 Topps and you could click on what you wanted, base and every insert set, all on one page. You also had a list of sellers who had cards from the set you and you could click on the seller.
I was finally able to get the sellers list to come up on the new layout, so I could search by seller. For some reason, I believe the list is listed by the sellers inventory, Why not by seller name, alphabetically. Not all sellers are preferred sellers, so you cant know how many cards they have in inventory, which means you have to scroll down the whole list trying to search for the seller you're looking for. I don't like spending forever trying to create an order. After searching through the seller list 3 times, trying to find a seller, I gave up and emptied my cart. If anyone has any insight on a better way to search, I would love to hear it. Thanks.

Bobby.. A few things for you:
1) Use the double arrows to skip 5 pages ahead (or back) at a time. 2) Use the arrow with the line to skip to the end (or beginning of the results) If you know approx. how many pages you need to skip forward, both of these will reduce the number of clicks needed. If you have a large number of pages to scan through, chances are you are better off adding more words to your search to narrow your results. 3) If you are looking for base cards, add it to your search "2024 Topps Base", this will get rid of all the other "stuff" you aren't looking for. If you are looking for a specific insert set, then add that key word to also limit your results, for example "2024 Topps Silver". 4) Also take advantage of the filters on the left side to select a specific set, team, etc. Again, if there are too many sets to show them all, chances are you can add more keywords to your search to reduce the number of sets. 5) You can also take advantage of exclusion words in the search. For example if you don't want to see 1989 entries, you could enter "2024 Topps ^1989" any word with a "^" in front tells the system to exclude any results with that word. You can add as many of these as you want. 6) As far as sellers, yes, we purposely listed highest inventory order, we discussed this ahead of time with a few buyers and felt this was better if customers were looking for sellers with the most cards for that search. But you can still easily get to a specific seller. Just click into the dropdown selection and start typing the seller's ID and the system will find the seller for you (this only works with a desktop computer, I have been unable to figure out how to best do this for a mobile device). The ability to add a page number is added to our list of enhancements. During the time of implenation of the new system, we purposely left this out due to response time concerns. Now that we see that the system is working fine with the workload we are seeing, we can get that feature added in the future. Hope this all helps! |

Once you have an item in the cart and you want to see their inventory, you can click on Shopping Cart Sellers, under sellers, to see what else they have. That way you don't have to search on the Pick a Seller dropdown.
NOTE: If you have 5 different sellers items in your cart, you will get all five sellers showing their inventory if you use this method. I just started using the new upload process that they opened up to Double Blue Stars. I'm going to be uploading a couple thousand cards this weekend all with pictures. Loving the new setup of the site. I think it is indeed much faster and easier to navigate from set to subset. I don't buy much on the platform, but did an order of around 100 cards and was easily able to find what I needed by seller first then by cheapest rate.
Oh, I also offer free shipping on all box orders and have one of the larger inventories on the site. |

Excellent! We have 4 sellers currently using the new automated batch upload process and already have just under 30,000 cards loaded using this new process. Will be contacting all Red and Yellow star sellers shortly to see if any are interested and then opening this up to all sellers shortly after that. Anyone who is currently a Double Blue or Blue star seller now and is interested in learning more, just contact me through the site and we can set-up a quick meeting to discuss. |

For my purchases, I am trying to better understand the "En Route to Box" tab.
Am I understanding correctly that "date filled" indicates the date the seller "pulled the cards" from their inventory, but has not shipped them to the box. And only when "Tracking to Box" has a tracking number have the cards been actually shipped to the box? |

I’ve found most sellers don’t upload tracking for box shipments. Some do. Usually it does mean they’re pulled but not sent yet, depending on the seller’s shipping schedule.

Functionally, all that the order moving from pending to en route tells you is that the seller has marked your order as filled. For me, as a seller, I do this when your order has been packed into its envelope and that envelope is in the bigger shipment that I'm preparing to send to sportlots. Again for me, that package is either going out later that day or the next, depending on what time it is when I process orders. Then, from my location out west, it takes 4-5 business days for the box shipment to get to Green Bay, WI. Typically it seems like they get processed by the guys at Sportlots within about 2 days. So, to sum up, ballpark time from an order going from "en route" to "in box" in this example is about a week, give or take. Obviously this'll vary between different sellers and given different factors. |

To avoid being lumped in with lazy sellers I will say that I provide a tracking number every time.
