Anyone else following the PWCC auctions tonight for the two 2011 BC Refractor 101's - (1) PSA 10 and (1) BGS 10.

The PSA 10 is at $6,500 and the BGS 10 is at $7,199...which is surprising as I assumed the BGS 10 would be much higher. Well there are several hours left...should be interesting where it ends up.

Also, what do you think about that being the new comp since there aren’t as many available compared to the “day trading” of the base. As in, do you see it dipping much at all?

30k for a Gold gem doesnt seem that expensive relative to 22k for a platinum diamond.

So how does a 2009 BC Blue /150 PSA 9 sell for ~ 78k (yesterday) and a Gold /50 PSA 9 for ~ 89k (today). Either one underperformed and the other outperformed, or I’m missing something...

I was just about to post the same thing. Either the gold went cheap or the blue went high.

Yep, now the question is which? A Gold PSA 10 sold for 190k via best offer a few weeks ago. Not sure if this offers any insight

Terapeak is a "paid" type of service. I put it quotes because sellers with stores get Terapeak for free but you can also buy a subscription I assume too. Other ways to get the price for free though. He is correct on the fact if it shows up on Terapeak, it was paid for. It also shows the correct price to message offers. If a seller makes an offer thru messages to someone it would normally show on ebay as paid at full price. Probably inflates prices some since many use ebay results as comparisons.

No. They've been going for 800-900 range lately. This isn't the first one to hit over 1k. It's the 3rd that I could find in my quick search. Highest being $1127 a week ago. The card linked was paid for, and so was the 1127 and another at basically 1k or 999.99. Could be where the card is heading but it's not there yet as a whole. Without looking my guess is the 1099 was the lowest one listed and that's why it sold. Probably as a gift for someone.

Edit: I guess it wasn't the lowest. One is listed at 999.99. Either way, the card was paid for. Shows up on Terapeak as such.

I don't now... the diamonds and the golds have always sold for around the same price. Obviously the gold is MUCH rarer... but the diamond is MUCH prettier.

All of his Heritage are super low pop but not all have a good image of him.
