So... haha. Took a BGS 9 2003 LBJ Topps RC with subs: centering 9.5, corners 9, surface 9 and edges 9.5; new grade today is a BGS 9.5 (hooray) with subs: centering 9 (how can centering change?) corners 9.5, surface 9.5 and edges 9.5... SO 3 out of 4 subs changed. What a scam

Subjectivity can be a double edged sword...you came out unscathed this time. Nice snag!

Agree, and while this is coming off as a complaint, I am not... obviously the 0.5 bump is a big deal and I'm happy... I cracked it and resent because it looked perfect, including the centering!!!! So I'm so confused how it went from a 9.5 to a 9 on centering especially when it looks nearly perfect. I will submit a photo when it gets back eventually. I got lucky and took a screenshot when they listed my 3 cards last week (with serial #s) then within a day or 2 they disappeared. BGS is funny. Point being.. I did not expect the centering to go BACKWARDS!! lol, didn't think it was subjective

Update...BGS told me to send the cards back and the whole process should take 2-3 weeks, which I thought was absurd considering this was their mistake. They should’ve made it a priority. Fast forward to today...three weeks after the cards were redelivered to BGS and they still have not logged my cards. This has been the worst experience. I love BGS’ slabs but I don’t see myself sending them another submission until they get their act together. I couldn’t be more upset with them and they couldn’t seem to care less. I think the bottom line is that they really don’t care about customers. I was willing to wait for my original order, even though it was twice as long as quoted. I am not willing to wait while they fix their mistake. Their customer service gets 0 stars from me.

Yeah usually when it is on the edge it is subjective then they kind of default to eye appeal....at least that is my experience. I bet the front looked solid but the rear centering was on the edge...who knows cant wait to see a scan

-Log time
-business days to get graded

Estimated TA times on BGSs page haven't been updated in months, so no idea if premium is still 10-15 days or if Express is actually at 15 days, and this thread doesn't seem to have recent data for these two service levels

Sent 5 cards in Express recently, I had been working on a pile of around 100 cards to send, but that ship has sailed. I'm not sure what I'll do with all those cards that I didn't think were PSA 10s, but are potentially BGS 9.5s.
