Superfractor hasn't surfaced. I'm definitely on the lookout and will pay what it takes to get it. There have been two red's graded, both PSA 10's. Neither has turned up for sale yet. Those are the two I need! I'm up to 179 Bowman autos and still adding!

I’ll keep my eyes peeled on social media. You have a similar collection to my 2018 Bowman Draft McClanahan collection except I originally focused on non autos so I’m playing catch up on the autos. I think I’m around 65ish. 179 for Elder is insane!

Loved seeing Greene not afraid to throw in the zone on 3-2 and let his defense get the double play. Very refreshing in general to see him get through two innings with a low pitch count.

I think having Luke Maile behind the plate makes a huge difference for him

Edit: the numbers back this up

With Maile catching - 3.57 ERA, 5.50 SO/W, .705 OPS against
With Stephenson catching - 5.75 ERA, 2.36 SO/W, .980 OPS against

Good not great start from Greene

7 innings, 4 hits, 4 runs, and 10 Ks on 106 pitches.

Made a mistake pitch to Bader and got punished for it, made a mistake pitch to Torres and got punished for it, and made a mistake pitch to Volpe and got punished for it.

I feel like the breakout is so, so close. Just need to clean up those off-speed pitches left out over the plate.

No idea why Bell would bring him out for the 7th…. Ugh…

I liked Bell leaving him out there, personally. Though I would've liked it a lot more if Greene got through the inning unscathed

Good god man!!!! Hell of a collection

I’m in a similar spot with Dax Fulton from 2020 Draft, but not quite up to your par

Awesome job. Will you be selling any or just keeping?

Hey, thanks! No plans to sell. My son and I have had a ton of fun chasing Bryce's cards. It's a labor of love and I doubt we will ever sell. Who knows we may end up giving it to Bryce and his family at some point down the road.

Agree, the breakout seems to be imminent. One of the most crucial things of a pitcher’s development is taking those lumps on mistake pitches, and learning not to throw them the next time. That’s all about developing that feel for the craft.

And with just 360 or so professional innings under his belt, he’s only averaged a little more than 50 innings a year. (TJ and a pandemic will do that to you…)

Selectively buying the dip on a few of the underperforming spring darlings with far less attention currently.
Was able to snag a TC blue Lodolo auto this morning for for $18 + s/h
Even with his crappy stats and injury situation that seems pretty low risk.

For today I’ll be watching Keller at Kirby, Matt Liberatore, Lulu at Detmers.

Nice price on a blue Lodolo! Yeah I've been watching his stuff too, it has come down a long way. Grabbed a few things including this bad boy for a cool 3 bucks this morning on comc!

Will Gerrit Cole be the last starting pitcher to ever reach 3000 strikeouts or 200 wins?

Discuss.....

I love Tyler Stephenson. But I can't help but think Casali behind the plate played a role. He just doesn't seem to pitch as well to Stephenson.

I completely agree. His numbers with Stephenson catching compared to his numbers with Casali/Maile catching are shockingly different

Isn’t it about a 2-run difference? A few tenths of a run wouldn’t mean much. But if you’re helping prevent a pair runs per game—or, on the flip side, if pitchers are allowed two more runs in games you’re catching—that is a huge difference.

Yup, it’s 5.75 with Stephenson and 3.74 with Maile. Crazy
