Suggs blew it with taking that heavily contested shot when he had Banchero right there.

Cam Thomas looks like the MIP.

Start of the season has been great so far.

I just hope Luka gets his MVP
Gonna use the great Zach Lowe's line here:

Is he still afraid to get fouled? (yes). Nothing else matters then.

This might be the worst play I've ever seen. Would you rather have Jordan Poole or Jalen Green?

This is straight from the Simmons' apologist playbook - talk him up whenever he's not literally cowering in a corner or being benched. I actually had to double check the standings to make sure I wasn't missing something and the Nets weren't 3-0 or something, lol. Nope, just an 11-10 double double and huge W vs the mighty Hornets. He's looking like the 8th or 9th best PG in the East so you gotta let drob have this victory.

They always have been.

They do nothing but slow down the game and disrupt the flow.

Should be reviewed after the game and sanctions assessed by the league office.

Any reason why?

They're essentially the same player. Is it an age thing or the mystery element of Green that he might just figure out that there's other stuff you can do on the court that doesn't involve shooting?

They're both similarly terrible from an efficiency perspective, neither plays any defense (though I would say Green is definitely worse), Jordan at least passes the ball occasionally.

This season Green has passed the ball 121 in 106 minutes, those have led to 5 assists and 15 points created. Poole has passed the ball 97 times in 87 minutes leading to 9 assists and 27 points created. So pretty much both of them are only passing out of drives.

Nikola Jokic on Chet Holmgren: "I think he needs to be a little bit fatter, to be honest."

Chet: "It’s hard to get fatter when you’re not fat. Got to start somewhere, I guess."

You can go with Jalen being slightly better at getting to the line, a little less turnover prone and improving while Poole looks like he's getting worse.

I would think Jalen would be perfect for the Wizards though. I also wouldn't mind him if/when the Bulls decide to tank.

I don't get the Simmons hate. He's gone from worst contract in basketball to overpaid (assuming he keeps it up). That's progress at least.

How has he improved though? I legit don’t see it

Now of course I already thought Jalen was way overrated by everyone and I’ve never thought he was any good but still. Just looking at the raw stats or any advanced metrics he doesn’t look any better.

I guess you could say he got a little better at drawing fouls?

I feel like they'll ultimately be the same player once all is said and done.

These Jordan-Clarkson-With-Volume types rarely go on to achieve anything of note.

I seriously don't even know what's going on in Houston anymore. There is no possible way CWhit is worse than most dudes coming off the bench, especially considering he crashes the boards and actually plays defense.

I see flashes of potential and I think he's a harder worker than Poole. He basically had a developmental mulligan last year with how bad the direction/coaching was. He's still only 21... give him a little time with an actual coach and pg before we write him off. I think as they continue to develop running the offense through Sengun he will improve with some consistency. He apparently greatly improves Sengun's numbers when he's on and not vice versa.

I also watched most of the ending of the game the other night vs GS and still saw the same potential flashes I did last year.

Feels like Slim Weeper's on a personal crusade to eliminate the ludicrous comparisons tonight.

Seeing the SKIMS logo on the Suns court tonight reminds me that magic is indeed real.
