I had to call HR and get some options as I was facing a full scale angry delivery order over the forced vacations.

They claimed they were unwilling to not work.

Explained that with no funding, they could not be onsite. HR did offer up their ability to take leave without pay though. I can't believe some are willing to take that option.

Still waiting on the return phone call from the Program Director (you know the real person who should be handling all of this

) to give me the go ahead to send their e-mails out.

KC is a fun city. Only 2.5 hours South of me. I've never been to the Negro League Museum but want to. Satchel Paige's grave is in KC too.

I'll be stopping by Fort Madison, Iowa again on the way to KC.

I haven't been to KC since 2004. I believe they are the 3rd largest rail hub.

I believe I had one of those when I was collecting since Mexican gold coins used to be dirt cheap compared to older American coins. With the price of gold exploding, it looks like all gold coins have gotten expensive.
