Goldin has a couple of big Trout cards up. Not my cards. Don't know the seller. Us175 Target red, gold, and blue PSA 10. 2009 bowman PSA 10/10. Also, a nasty red Bowman 1st Acuna. Interested to see where they finish. Im a bidder. Not sure that I'm a buyer.

I believe this was the first reprint that topps did of Trout's RC. These usually sell for a ton, but I was watching prices of these years before the recent boom of the market. The print run of this is in the realm of 50 (based on crude calculations). I scoured my purchase history to see what I paid, but couldn't find it (it was also in like 2015 or 2016, so the price wouldn't be relevant)

Wow, than it is bigger than I thought. Great info. I've been looking at the other cards from the set since finding the Trout and they are beautiful. Some of the iconic Rookies in history made into Chrome is fantastic.

13 Chrome Xfractor listing

Is this a realistic price, or an attempt to bring up all prices by simply advertising this card this way?

Raw this is a $150 card lately, iirc, though I don't watch it super carefully. I need one of these cards to finish that Xfractor set; never figured the Trout would be the toughest one to do that. I guess I might just hope someone was optimistic enough to send in a copy that got a 7 or something.

Also: sheets of these do exist, they were a redemption in the product that year.

These sell in spurts. One sells and then others list theirs and it then it goes dry for months. They tend to be horrible on centering. So anywhere around 50-125 raw. Chances for more because the last few to sell were December and earlier and prices have increased since. Last BGS 9 went for $500.

One sold in late February for $770 and $600 or so in January. So obviously they are asking way too much. Raws aren't cheap either though. Might be a challenge to get one under $300 in the current market.

Well again I am only reporting facts. You made good points before - why are there BINs sitting now at $420? It's a bit odd.

Was just curious if anyone might be aware of any of these 2019 Topps Fire autos. I picked up the below "Trout auto" for around $200 thinking that I had managed to snag one of his on-card sigs for relatively cheap. Turns out though that the card had actually been signed by the artist who did the artwork on it. I'm not so familiar with Trout auto's so don't be too hard on me... Lol. Was planning on making this my first of his auto's, which of course did not turn out to be the case. Not sure if I want to continue holding on to it. But thought I'd share right here first just in case I do end up deciding to sell it.

Hand numbered to 10 and actually signed by artist Tyson Beck

Was just about to add that discussion point. Was a probstein ran auction too. I guess Bowman non-autos are potentially relegated a little further.

Fully aware I am doing this in a Trout thread, but would you rather own a PSA 10 Topps Update Trout or PSA 10 Sapphire Tatis in the 4-5K range?

Does it being Trout offset the difference in pop counts?

Im newer to collecting/investing side of things. Does a paper base have much more room to grow?
