If an owner ever has to talk about the conditioning of a player... especially a 21 year old... they are doing it to cover up the real issue.

Interesting, but here is my question - if he's injured... why would they play him? It's SO early in the season, wouldn't he at least be on a minutes restriction? Also on Cuban, I think with mostly any other club owner, history has taught us if they're publicly defending a player there is trouble down the road. However Cuban is a bit different than other owners... he's been a personality for a long time and invited to speak on many different platforms. I just think he's talking and not too much to read into. I bought very very early into Luka so I'm not totally biased by thousand dollar investments, but I guess I am blinded by fandom.

I dont think he's injured but i do think he's probably still a little out of shape. That will wear off though he's young. He probably still eats pizza and junk food he's a kid. The season will get him back into shape within 10-15 games.

Players go through slumps. Three point shooting has NEVER been his strong point offensively. He goes through stretches where he is insanely hot from beyond the arc, but he is a 30-33% shooter from beyond the arc. Attacking the rim is where his strength is. I think it is funny that people are freaking out about Luka, yet he is averaging, what 24 PPG through 4 games?

The threes will fall as he gets in shape. I would just like to see him take fewer, and improve the efficiency of the shots. I hate his shot selection at times. No better than a turnover.

Talking about his lack of 3 point shooting and possible injury is not wanting him to fail. Just pointing out what I see.

That's true, but he is still young. He will learn that his strength isn't beyond the arc yet. So far, his three point attempts are down 2 per game, but the season is so young so it is hard to tell if that will be a trend or not.

Don’t feel like breaking it all down, but the four conference finals teams are a combined 9-9 to start the season. Don’t think it would be going out on too big of a limb to say that’s probably unprecedented in the absence of major personnel changes.

No one has had a better 2 year start to their career in the NBA than Luka, in the past 30+ years, literally no one. The only one in the same ballpark would be Lebron. "Didn't pass my eye test" in a preseason game? GTFO
