These are not big money makers for bots. Sealed green sets selling for around $90. Bigger fish to catch like Bowman Chrome (not for long after people see the breaks) and Football. I have never seen so many people just wait around for Football products at both Target and WM. Crazy

It's interesting that Walmart actually mentioned quantity limits in that email. Anyone else get an email or just had their orders canceled without any explanation? It's possible early on the bots were locking in many orders and Walmart actually decided to cancel those orders enough times where the bots actually gave up?

There's several possible explanations. But unless we're in one of their discord chats we'll never truly know
Could be canceled orders. Could be the price point and ROI on sealed sets turning them off. From a pure flipping standpoint they may have concluded these to not be worth it.

I don’t think bots are trying to catch these. there is not a ton of money in flipping these short term. once all these bought over the last few days get in peoples hands prices will likely drop at least temporarily.

there might be money to be made busting them open and piecing them out, or holding them til next season to see if any prospects take off, but if you get one of these next week and sell it for $85 shipped, it’s gonna cost $10+ to ship it, then you give pp and ebay their 13% you have less than $10 profit. it’s not really a flippers dream.

Maybe when the sets start to hit the destinations, the bots realized the shipping cost going to eat up their profits.

After making 2 orders on Walmart for the same item all the orders after it get cancelled. Not sure why so I called and they said “suspicious activity” and then said I would need to verify myself with her and it would take 24 hours to place another order or something dumb

So can someone give a quick run down on these. I understand there’s certain sets numbered but if you open one will there be some numbered cards and some that aren’t? And I saw something about redemptions is that true?

The OP is your friend. Topps is releasing a lot of factory sets this year with different content. This thread is mainly about the Target and the Wal-Mart version. In all of them you get the complete regular set. Then you get a parallel pack containing random cards from the set serial numbered to whatever. I would imagine the Montgomery Club and some Topps.com exclusive will be an all serial numbered set.
