Some good news for a change, CC is back for the Fever practice. Video shows her warming up with the team and doing the shoot around.
I think she does come back for a few games this season after being nearly convinced she was done for the year.
There's just 8 games left in the regular season and at most she might be back for the last 5, which would be the Valkyries in 7 days or they might wait until the next home game which would be against the Sky on Sept. 5.
I think the Sky game would be a good one, at home against a team they easily dominated all year which might be a good way to boost her confidence coming back.

CC should take the rest of the season off, this team is cursed. Early in the 1st quarter against the Storm and now Lexi Hull is out after a massive collision. So, most of their original roster and half the replacement players are out now. I've never seen a team this decimated by injuries in 1 season.

Seriously, this is pretty much a lost season for her and the Fever. Even if they eek into the playoffs, they'll get trounced in the 1st round. Sit CC rest of the year and tank to get as high a draft pick as possible next May.

I get that, but the more I see the less it looks like this season is salvageable. The second post came after it looked like Lexi Hull was injured badly enough to miss more than 1 game after that head to head collision, but she came back in the 2nd quarter (nasty bumps on her head though, I can't believe she doesn't have a concussion at the very least).
I personally want to see her play again this season (especially since there might not be a 2026 season), but I just can't see the Fever having any chance at beating a top seed in the playoffs and I'd hate to see her get injured again playing what are probably meaningless games to end the season. With that surprise win against the Storm it at least looks likely they will make the playoffs now.

The CC NT 1/1 Logowoman auto went for $504k on Fanatics Collect last night. Maybe if the logowoman patch was actually game worn and not from a $20 jersey from Dick's, it would have gone for more.

Well, Stephanie White is still just jerking fans around. Today they are having a "meeting" to decide if there is time for Caitlin to return this season.
Someone pointed out that if they are having a meeting it can only mean CC is healthy and ready to play, but it might be too risky to play her just to be swept in the first round. If she wasn't healthy enough to play there would be no need for a meeting to decide.
We've already seen you can't trust anything Stephanie White says, especially relating to injury status. Just this week White has said Bibby was ready to come back, then it was she's not quite ready but there was no setback and now she said Bibby is out for the season.

Just a couple weeks ago they had CC as "game time decision" for a game and then it was "she's close" and now they need to decide if she's done for the season.

Panini is doing you the service of making sure you don’t make any costly errors “speculating” on a random rookies breakout. Now when they are released you will know who to go for as the season has already played out, you should really be thanking them
