Good news: Had a bunch of cards checked in from a few different "standard" subs that were marked to be completed late August

Bad news: Sales still very slow

Sent in another 600 cards today.

I've requested the rushed shipping cost to be returned to me on each one and they have complied, which they freaking better do if they want people actually sticking around.
A 9 card economy rushed shipment didn't work for me. It has been a month since I ordered and they blew past the promised date. I would send an email to Customer Service.... nah it would be more effective and productive to crap in a cup and have it for lunch.

Another day late on my rushed shipment.

What can the excuse be now? Covid won't work, hasn't for a while.

Generally how long does it take for a submission to pop on the site. Package was received today at 11:00 am

Contact the Better Business Bureau, it's simple and gets results, even possibly your shipping fees back. If you can't take 5 minutes to fill out a form, you can't want your cards that bad. The more complaints, the more COMC has to answer for their lack of service!

I was the first to do this and post it here I believe. Same with reporting to the Attorney General. I was offered a refund for 2 February shipments I'd guess they couldn't find. I took the refund and instead of paying cash out fees, figured I'd spend it back and use rushed against since others were seeing results. Well....right back in the hole again.

As buyers many of us are furious, I'm just not sure why consignors don't seem as angry. Reports of terrible sales are plentiful but sellers act like they don't know why. COMC has run off the customer base of non flippers, simple as that

I'm forgiving on a few days for rushed orders.....but start firing off emails for those that are several weeks late for a refund, it works.

Theyll send you an email that theyve received it in 3-4 business days. Maybe 5-6 now, I dont keep track.

Sales are tanking everywhere, not just COMC. Lets not pretend as if sales on ebay (non-comc) are doing great.

Thanks! For me used to be the same day it was received but that was a few years ago

Speaking as someone who both sells and (to a lesser extent) buys, I think pretty much everyone selling knows exactly what it going on and is plenty concerned. I think the difference is that that if you are a seller you have a pretty simple choice. You can get out for whatever you can get at the moment in a crappy market where no-one wants to deal with COMC, or you can bet they can at least minimally turn it round and you will make more money sticking it out in the long run.

For those of us taking the latter bet, you almost have to be able to control fury or anger otherwise you will drive yourself mad given that any turnaround from here is going to be slow. Not saying that anger and fury are inappropriate - just that anyone that can't control those emotions is going to be emotionally better off selling up for whatever they can get.

So you aren't going to see as much overt anger from sellers. What you will see is a lot of quiet change in behavior, such as a much higher threshold to buy to flip and a much lower rate of submissions. But the idea that sellers don't know why sales are slow is frankly laughable.

I'm waiting for someone with competent management skills and the financial backing behind them to put out an offer to buy them out.

I'm up to the 5 month mark of waiting for my shipment from COMC so I sent the BBB complaint email and will submit that tomorrow if I don't hear back. They refunded my shipping charge 6 weeks ago but that does me no good without also sending the cards. Just had to vent to see if others have waited longer? No I did not pay the express fee as I thought 3 months would be fine but didn't expect the 5-6 month wait.

It won't happen - if Tim wouldn't sell to Beckett, knowing full well they'd sue when he refused their offer, then no one can make an offer that they'll accept.

For those who sub cards, is the turnaround time still guaranteed at 16 weeks?

Much faster, but only in small clumps.
I’ve got 3 subs sent last month that were due 8/2021 and have been getting checked in slowly in groups of 20-50 cards.

It is 16-weeks NOT guaranteed. So it may take longer, and if it does no discount.

Just noticed that they lowered the shipping estimates for me. 14 days for rushed, was 22 days a month ago. Raised base price to $5 from $4 though.

It is guaranteed and if they do not meet the deadline, there are discounts.

"Beginning 5/1/2021 all incoming Standard and Select submissions have guaranteed turnaround times. Any item deposited to your account after its due date will automatically have its processing fee discounted by 50% for Select, and 20% for Standard."

And it seems most Standard submissions are being processed faster than the 16-week timeline.

You've been saying this for over a month, this is not true what you're saying.

I guess they can't run promos when they are having shipping issues, but a 5% cashback promo would be a nice bone to throw to us. Too bad management never thinks that way. Recaps of flips on twitter is all we get.

I posted before only way to get COMC to change is stop buying from them. If people are going to be suckers and just complain about shipping but still buy from them they won't change anything because you are still giving them your money.

I have rolling store credit there that I haven't deposited on in over three years, they aren't getting any of "my money".

I do random cash outs when it builds up enough, I also purchase fun PC cards that I want to bring home. That has been done through the rushed delivery service for quite awhile now and I've also received credit back totaling over $100 for complaining directly to them about the slowness of this type of shipping service when the date was missed by several weeks, even months.

I don't see a reason to stop buying and the only thing that technically does stop me is when cards don't sell to generate me more store credit. You're right in that people are slowing down their buying because of many of the company's issues and I can't say I've been overly impressed with them at all in 2021. But my point is, you can buy AND complain at the same time, especially when the outcome turns out in your favor.
