Biggio has almost double Guerrero's WAR in 350 less ABs.....

I watched a video the other day about the team as a whole and it is incredible, for the most part, the whole team is down (stat wise). I also have seen multiple people talk about his hit approach, late loading and hitting too square vs earlier and more under the ball. That seems to be the main 2 issues because when one looks at stat projections he should be near the top.

I wonder if he hears these things.

Is it just me, or does Vladdy have a different energy to his swing? He looks like he in control of the batter’s box in a way that we haven’t seen in a while.

While I don’t know if any where intentional, the 3 walks stand out to me a much as the homer, as far as him being in a better place at the dish.

He took a pitch low and away and looked at the ump and laughed. Homered the next swing. The three walks were huge. He’s seeing the ball well right now and he seems more relaxed. This is what he needs to do consistently instead of trying to hit three HRs with every swing.

I wonder if a strong finish from Guerrero will make the trade rumors die down. He's still going to finish as their worst regular starter but some strong momentum off the back end could convince them to roll the dice on another year

Unfortunately all that comes with an average WAR of under ONE per season besides the year he played in the Minor League parks

How about Corbin at 22

Corbin Caroll has more WAR this season than Guerrero does in his 4 non-Minor League Park seasons combined. Not sure what he has to do with anything though

And at age 22 same as carroll he had 48 home runs with a plus 1.000 ops these two aren’t the same at all who cares about war

Even if you don't care about WAR, Guerrero has a career .452 SLG at Rogers Center. Those minor league bandboxes inflated his numbers in 2021 (44 games, 21 HR, .862 SLG). That's one of the most severe splits I've ever seen.
