Probably so. Where something. Like "Mr. Chandler, I know you are busy but I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a quick photo of me and my son." We might be seeing the op saying how great of a guy Tyson Chandler is.

He did state that he had his wife ask while he stood in the shadows with his son.

Too lazy to read the rest of the thread, but I actually got a picture with Tyson Chandler. I saw him at Vegas in Mandalay Bay and he was cool. Talked to him for a bit and got a pic with him, but he wasnt with his family.

The self entitlement of fans has always amazed me.

We CHOOSE to be fans. No one forces us to go watch these guys play or buy their jerseys, cards ect.

This entire thread is what's wrong with the world today.

Whatever the OP posted can be taken however each person wants to take it. But at the end of the day it's either, great post OP, TC is a DB or your a DB OP for invading his privacy. There is no reason seven pages in people are saying the same thing over and over again. I think I've seen posts that have been repeated word by word. Someone's down, what's the point of constantly kicking them? The point has been made clear. Couple people understand where he's coming from, the rest don't. Both sides are entitled to their opinions. Do you really think the constant bitching is going to change the OP as a person? Do you really think OP gives a #@#@#@#@ about anyone's feedback and thoughts here?

He's probably just upset because he wasn't expecting to be turned down. That came a shock to him and that's why he's probably so upset. If it happens again tomorrow, I don't think he'll be here making the same post. This was his first encounter and it turned out to be a bad one.

Let it go and move on!!! Plenty of other threads for people to share their opinions and expertise on.

At this point, OP probably isn't even following this thread.

I got to say there were some funny stuff...but the constant repeat of the same statements makes the thread just pointless this far in.

Its the entitlement of the members of the basketball forum. They all feel the need to get their "kick" in. They see someone getting busted up, so they bum rush it and pile on. "Yo guys, im cool too, lemme get in there and kick the OP too so I can be like you guys"

Then the OP should take the "Kick Me" sign off of his back...

On a separate note I used to see Ben Gordon at the mall when he played with the bulls with a different white woman every time. Finally I grew a pair and asked him to smoke a joint with us one time, he laughed and seemed willing but his gf pulled him away what a douche for letting this woman dictate his decisions!! Edit-I'm totally joking about Ben being a douche, but I think I can understand how some of these athletes gets sick of it sometimes with so many people hounding them in public all of the time.

We get it, he's your buddy, so you want to try and "stick up" for him, but there really isn't anything to stick up for.

When you try to blast someone and call them a douche bag because you feel like you are entitled to THEIR time, then you are the problem. Then, to continue to defend that position...you know where the thread is going to go.

OP being corrected/chided/rebutted is not the issue. Any defense of that is incomprehensible and also enabling that kind of behavior.

I got to stand in the hallway as the Wolves walked to the court once last year. My brother asked me if I wanted to try to get a high five from Gorgui. I was like, "No. Why would I want that?" I just want pieces of cardboard with his picture on it and pieces of cloth from a jersey he supposedly wore and maybe an incomprehensible scribble. None of this interaction stuff for me, thanks.

He probably meant it was a "douche bag move" for not taking 1 second out his life (of sitting and texting) to snap a quick pic. He was obviously not happy since he didn't get the photo op, so he was still stinging a little, but wouldn't you feel the same way if it happened to you??? How many people run into athletes at the skating rink, right? If it was "family time", then how come Chandler wasn't skating with his family? Just put yourself in the OP's shoes instead of blasting him for being a little salty about running into an NBA player.

How about you put yourself in Chandler's shoes and see if you can skate with hamstring injury?

I will put myself in Chandler's shoes and take 1 second to snap a photo with a fan. With a hamstring injury, all the more reason to let a fan snap a pic since it ain't like he's going to be skating with a bad hammy.........

Never really thought of surfing porn on my phone as family time.

As a teacher I'd just like to show my appreciation for asujbl's efforts in this thread.

The struggle is real.

He had his reason why he did not want to take the photo, as well as he also had a reason why he did not skate.

However, you assume he should be skating without knowing the fact that he was injuried. You also don't know the reason why he did not want to take photo at that very moment.

You just assume everything what Chandler should do in your mind. You are not Chandler.
