the rise in cost to pick up an update over the past month has been really dramatic. if he goes mvp this year i wonder what we are looking at come september.

Shift to Topps 2012 will be heavier... it's already started a while ago. Color 2011 update will get really expensive

I don't know what the big deal is about his 2012 cards. Yes, that was his playing rookie year and yes, he won ROY in 2012. However, hobby wise, his RC logo cards are from 2011 when he debuted (thanks Topps!).

I see his 2012-now cards the same. They aren't RC or prospect cards. Just another Trout card.

acquired a 2011 Finest Die-cut xfractor /10 non auto BGS true gem. Probably wont ever find a Trout RC as rare per serial number. Going to cross is over I think

Incredible. This is my favorite RC card of his, but as it’s /10 there’s no way I’ll ever own one!

I almost grabbed this one too. They had a 20% off coupon that would have made that right at $300. Not a bad deal.
