So is yours missing or did the other owner receive your "fake" one?
If yours is missing and you received the local subber, then wouldn't the local subber be wondering where his is also if you have his? This sounds shady as f***. |

If OP just got the Namath, the local subber may not know his is missing yet. Without any evidence there was another N4 Namath sub though I wouldn’t believe him. If yours really was along the side of the box, unslabbed, it probably got thrown out with the box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would ask to see the paperwork from your sub.

I think you need to take a page out of O.J. Simpsons book on this one

![]() In the Flickr link there are screenshots of OP’s sub with an N4 Namath and OP’s other card (PSA9 Murray Contender auto I believe?). Still doesn’t prove the card wasn’t swapped though. A different (later) sub showing another N4 Namath would be the closest one could get to proof it wasn’t swapped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

1. How does he remember yours now and state that it was misplaced? Wouldn't he have to know that the card originally came in order to be misplaced? And boom it disappears?
2. If it was misplaced AND does not know how to keep track of cards when they come in, he is admitting he is incompetent and should not be doing group submissions? 3. It was a local submitter so wouldn't he have had the card before you did? Well most likely in any case unless he really is disorganized. 4. He is claiming that yours also came back N4 which means he would have had to pay attention to the card and verify it upon delivery. Did he make a statement which could prove any wrong doing? 5. Can we call PSA to verify any recent submissions of the card and specifically from that group submitter? Now how does he retract his comment if it indeed comes back that another card was submitted by him and was indeed graded. Just some thoughts but you know I do not know everything. Just ideas that floated in my head so please take it as that... |

1. Thats what I thought. He says when he looked back through all the paperwork, he realized it was on the psa sheet.. and that it came back with my Kyler contenders so it must have been in that box and he missed it.. 2. You'd think. 3. He said he assumed it was my Namath so he sent it to me. He hasn't told the other guy anything yet.. 4. Check the email he sent. I attached the link in a comment above. 5. I am in contact with a PSA employee and he is trying to help me with that. Im not sure yet. I appreciate your thoughts and feedback! |

Starters, I like how he was able to find the "second" non slabbed Namath and not the first. But if I were to put myself in his shoes, I am always checking the receipt to verify which cards came in and verify ALL content. It just seems odd that you would not do that especially when handling other peoples items. If you do not check the list with the content of the box how in the world do you know what is being graded and what you are waiting on; and if PSA made any errors on the order. Then to "throw out" the box without checking if anything was left. I am almost certain the Namath wasn't bare and it's oversized. Anyways, I hope everything works out and maybe I am wrong in my thought and the submitter is being truthful. But not someone I would be willing to bat for or trust with my orders JS. |

Seems like yours could be swapped out to send in in another submission... Crazy man.... Sorry this happened to you.

There would still be a certification number for your correct card (non authentic or not) and the submitter would have it.
Ask him for that Cert # and proof that it’s part of his submission.

I think it’s time to contact the authorities. I’d probably call my local police department first, let them reach out to the authorities in his area.
Let him give the police the PSA submission proof that he sent in two Namath cards. I’m pretty skeptical he actually had the foresight/good fortune to have submitted two cards. I’d hang onto the slab he gave you back as it is proof he did not return your card to you. Personally I wouldn’t upload the phone conversation. Keep that private or at least don’t make it public. Good luck OP hope you get a good result. |

I would still want to see a copy of his paperwork from your sub. Both to confirm it was there, and that it wasn't authentic. Also would want to see copy of other sub to make sure there even is another person. Something doesn't add up here, obviously. I would contact authorities too.

Ya - too many things stink here...How many 1965 Namath's even get subbed per a year?
1 - one of the most iconic vintage football cards. Pretty sure you don't forget coming across multiple's of those in recent subs. 2 - being it's an oversized card , this sure is looking like BS |

well.. a little common sense - if it was put in box with 'other' cards then obviously it would stick out. If I had an oversized card it would be hard to miss in my boxes. How many over-sized cards is he subbing per an order? Would be shocked if it's even 1% of all cards he's subbing.

If KK can’t provide a second, later sub with another N4 Namath then you’ve caught him in his own lie.
