He's not a rookie (card) eligible - he has Topps Now cards as a "call up". My assumption is they can't stick "call up" on this set (for whatever reason), and they certainly can't stick "RC" on it, so the only option is to not make a card.

How was he eligible for ROY but not RC card status? Genuine question, as I don't know when a player changes from Call Up to RC.

They could certainly make the card and not put an RC OR call-up logo on it (e.g. earlier this year there was at least one dual card where both players have had RC logo this year... but the dual card doesn't and Topps confirmed it was intentional).

Curious to see what design topps chooses to start off with in 23. Didn't have any luck with photo variations. Skipped the 1st 2 sets completely, bought all the rest. Ended up with 2 parallels and those came in the same order

Disappointed in Topps. Another TBT set design repeat. They did this same design in the 2016 year with Set #2. Out of ALL the unused designs they have, including unused base baseball designs from 1953, 1962, 1967, 1969, 1970, etc. they chose to repeat. UGH.

I doubt they do 53 since that's what they use for the living set. They did 62 a few months ago
