Not counting the unnumbered Green, the hobby has /360 as the highest numbered. That tells me there was a lot. Not to mention the /549 Orange in retail.

Unrelated, it's weird that the numbered parallels go all the way from /141 to the 1/1s. Nothing in-between.

Yea the parallel numbering seems weird in this release. I guess some might consider the 'red foil' artist auto /63 a parallel about halfway between those. But even that's a big jump, /63 to /1.

Is there even a need to have a /360 or /549 be numbered? Getting kinda high up there. It's nice you can pull a numbered card in retail, but it almost feels like a cheat by UD to sneak it in there with the /549, which surely cant hold much value, it's almost no different than an unnumbered parallel.

Maybe that’s where some ePack achievements will come into play? Or maybe a new take on combinables? Like first X digital base combined get a /50?

Maybe they're seeing the Star Wars community where people are grading anything with a serial number. (Yuck...) Kinda makes sense with the COMC ability to send to grading once this hits ePack.

(Half joking)

Bought a blaster today while at target. They had like 20 of them available.

Hit a Checkmate Hero King Captain America. Odds are 1:720 packs.

Awesome.

Can’t wait for e pack to start. So they start flooding eBay so I can start buying

Right now you can tell that this product has not been opened at all. With the small amount of jambalayas on eBay

Imo

Yeah I thought the card was #'d out of 30 but it is of 30 in the series.

Need to list and get it gone soon.

True, and the non-stock image on COMC when it's numbered, so you can see what you're sending to grade.

It reminds me of /499, /999, /1999 etc in masterpieces. At which point does a serial number become meaningless? Probably is dependent on demand I guess.

I bought 2 blasters from target, but don't even know what I'm looking for as in good hits...

I did get a check mate hero pawn of hawkeye, so that was at least something different in the pack

I think 1/100 is a good place to draw the line. Anything higher and it's way too common.

Target still has these in stock online. If they were $20 a blaster I might buy another 1 or 2.

Agree. MM Battle Spectra Gems are /99, right in that sweet spot where the numbered still means something. They are on the market enough but not saturating it. There arent enough buyers in this non-sport niche to have /360s and /500s mean all that much.

I think the Orange being numbered is just a ploy to make retail buyers happier.

Basically meaningless, but it's a feel-good gesture.

Anybody done the math on the print run of jambalayas? Including retail, blasters and epack?

Yellows were not numbered.

Retail: ~84,000 blasters

Hobby/epack: Didnt do the math or have looked if its even possible, but heard someone in a video say they thought ~6,000 cases= 72k boxes (which would put it at more than Spidey metal). Anyone confirm this?

If those are indeed the numbers, then 875 jambas from retail, 6000 from hobby/epack. 30 in the set, so ~230 of each jambalaya. This is more than the number of jambas in any previous marvel set...trend seems to be increasing jamba print run as the years increase.

what would you say is the grail for this set? Tough one isnt it.. I'm looking at the black opal 1:1s... and I cant decide... for me it would be between captain america , ironman or she-hulk... moonknight, war machine, thanos are honorable mentions
..

I pulled a Hercules card that is all foil but looks like it is part of a puzzle but has no naming convention on it. There is a knee poking down from above him and what looks llike a Hulk shoulder below to right of him.

Any ideas what it is?

Part of a puzzle. Think it's called 3x3.

Recently saw a pic of the full 3x3 artwork and it looks amazing. By Tom Fleming. Hard to appreciate it in 1 card chunks.

This is one set I may go for even though I’m not collecting much of FUA. Possible it might get released as a lithograph achievement like the Hildebrandt one in 2018 ultra x-men.

What's even wilder is he said on FB that he only had 10 days to finish it.
