In addition to his 7 homers, Outman also has 3 triples. He leads rookies in pretty much every category.

Dodgers were at risk of falling 2 games under .500 with a loss today. That hasn't happened since June, 2018, so nearly 5 years on the calendar.
They instead won to get to 11-11.

Big finish tomorrow with a chance to get an actual series victory.
Kershaw looking for #201 versus Stroman on Sunday.

You dudes sound like Giants fans.
Relax.
Roberts was a player then..., not a "manager."

You sound like someone who didn't watch the 2019, 2021-22 playoffs...the Dodgers were gutless.

Once again, the problem has rarely been the regular season for the Dodgers, it's the postseason when the homer or no offense mentality, dumb pitching moves, and lack of grit rears its ugly head.

Whoops, you seemed to have missed one year there.

Fine, fine.
Good luck to the Giants, or whoever it is you're rooting for this year.

Good weekend for the club, team looking good, despite no Will Smith.

Top 3 teams in the West will be separated by just half a game if San Diego wins today.

Day off, then Pittsburgh...

Was today the first time Mookie Betts played Shortstop for the whole game? I saw the switch listed in the box score on Friday but that was for the get-it-over-with 9th only.

How does he look there? Started a Double Play today I noticed. Quite an interesting wrinkle to his achievements.

I thought he looked pretty natural for a guy that hadn't played the position since his minor league days. Really gives the Dodgers some flexibility to add pop to the lineup, especially given the right pitching matchup.

Glad to see the Dodgers stay classy and keep Andrew Toles under contract for all these years just so he can have health insurance to battle his mental issues.

This is fertile bunch, too.
Now Max is on paternity leave, following Mookie from last week.

To replace Muncy, 2019 Dodgers draft pick Michael Busch has been called up to the Majors for first time.
His 21 games at Triple-A Oklahoma City this year had him at .337/.461/.506 with 2 homers and 16 RBI.

Dodgers have Thor tonight trying to cool the 1st Place (16-7) Pirates.

The Dodgers played to their talent level and Roberts didn't have as many opportunities to make bone head moves

But one WS win with the teams the Dodgers had in the last six years is underachieving, plain and simple.

It is not.
Look how long the Yankees have had unlimited funds.
They've won one title this century, having appeared in a total of 3 World Series since 2001 and losing 2 of those.

96.66% of all MLB teams fail in their effort to win the title each and every year, and lots of those teams are spending big money regularly now.

Maybe pick another team to root for. I recommend an actually lousy franchise, so your complaints about them might occasionally make sense as opposed to the nonsensical trolling you constantly engage in here. The Oakland A's could use some more fans.

Big win tonight. CT3 with a much needed 3-run blast being the difference.

Congrats to Busch with his first ML hit. He also drew a walk and scored on the Taylor homer.

Two more extra-base hits (doubles) for Outman.
Thor got rocked but the bullpen tightened up nicely, Shelby Miller with the save.

Pretty good road trip so far.

I don't care about the Yankees. I've been a Dodger fan since 1988 (when they had a real manager in Lasorda). We all know you think Roberts and the front office is great; most of LA doesn't agree.

The fact that you call me a troll is beyond irony. I have high expectations now that the Dodgers have actually spent money for the last decade or so. If you watched during the early 90s, they didn't do that much (other than Strawberry). I'm not going anywhere, so get used to it.

1978 for me, so I didn't become a fan, y'know, the year they won a championship.

Go figure.

They literally won Game 7 of the NLCS and the clinching game of the World Series going with pen games. You also left out 2017 and 2018 conveniently where they also won back to back NL Championships.

Pretty awesome that Roberts was able to match Lasorda's start with 3 NL championships and a World Series without being homophobic trash, IMO
