These prices are fairly reasonable compared to last year's fiasco. But there are less autos per box and still not at the pre-pandemic prices but moving in the right direction. Will be interesting to see the prices BO has for pre-sale. Would have been nice to get a hobby case for $1500. Pre-sale case prices last year were over $4,000.

I got 2 Jumbos, and will see how things go. My son and I love ripping so I have a feeling we'll open both. However, I know afterwards I will be thinking, "I could have put $600 towards the singles I really want".

Then I'll hate myself for a week for being a degen, then get excited for Sapphire and fall into the same trap.

Correct. So I'll just tell it how it is. Topps chrome has always been a terrible product. Even at $65 a box back in the days, it was a bloodbath. I don't see the intrigue with those rushing to buy a product that hasn't even released a checklist. Who knows, there might be 150+ players on the auto checklist and the majority being scrubs. Wait, we do know but let's just buy anyways because the price is "cheap" compared to previous years. You can spend your money how you want so carry on.

I lucked out buying a box of Series 1 hobby and cracking an Ohtani /25 auto redemption card. I know it's only downhill from there, but I've bought a handful of boxes since. Including 1 chrome hobby today. Keep getting reeled back in by the "what if" factor.

12 less autos per hobby case and 16 less autos per jumbo case. I know 90% of the autos are garbage, but that seems like a big issue for the price.

1 hobby box and you get some random middle relief pitcher....ouch.

hmmm for $40 more after taxes, I think I'll buy a full case case of 22' Chrome Update or HNN.

Will last me longer and can more easily nickel and dime back some of the cost for the stuff I don't keep for the PC.

I noticed that as well.

At current preorder prices (from Topps), jumbo looks to be the winner. I didn't pay any attention to non-auto color odds though.

Prices aren't bad on hobby/jumbo, of course there's fewer autos now.

$35 for a blaster box of Topps Chrome is obscene.
