I stick to base set collecting and set building by buying singles at shows.

From what I can see via Fanatics/Topps MLB, I will have zero problems resuming how I bought Topps NFL back in 2015. That excites me. Can't wait for flagship and Chrome back in my life.

For you higher-end collectors, there is probably a litany of issues and rightfully so. I, for one, despise Fanatics as a company and always have.

Their apparel is a joke.

Transcendent football. Might finally be able to get autographs of current top NFL QBs. Imagine that.

I doubt it's gonna be like baseball.

QB gamers cost big bucks.... Mahomes is near $100k and even guys like Tlaw go for $30k.

Unless they are going to make Dynasty their top product and spend a lot to make it, I can't see it being the same standard as in baseball.

But it would be awesome.

Panini game plan? Spend what’s left on attorneys and go down swinging?

Fanatics then picks up any IP of value in bankruptcy?

Probably threaten court with the plan of taking whatever settlement money they can get. And then sell off the NFL rights for more money.

I don't plan on opening boxes. I plan on watching people get absolutely decimated, losing hundreds or thousands (or hundreds of thousands), paying clowns to yell about ripping supersickmojo on livestreams and picking up singles in the aftermath.

They could have these guys putting on a new jersey every quarter of every game if they're giving the NFLPA some type of partial ownership/profit/revenue sharing, etc.

Only thing that will make me happier is watching EA lose their license for Madden.

Rovell says Panini’s CFB deal is also through the NFLPA for some reason so that ends too. They have to sign athletes individually.

Given how crooked corporate America operates, I fully expect Fanatics to acquire the NFL license very soon.

Panini putting out "NFL products" that only consist of team logo/helmet stickers is laughable for a league like the NFL.

I am not an expert, but I can't see this new current state lasting very long.

That is strange that they are linked IMO

I'm sure Panini has 0 plans to release anything sans what might already been in production. The only use they have with the NFL license at this point is to pry money from Fanatics.

The 2023 rookie class is going to be robbed card-wise.
