Given that you don't need to do much digging to find a pretty amazing deal going on right now for 20-21 The Cup, my guess is the price for 21-22, which I can't possibly see being a better long term hold given the rookies, is going to drop too, at least as low if not lower.

2021-22 is a very deep class and the only negative about holding is the redemptions. 2020-21 has some previously discounted RC’s that are now producing. I think any Cup Tins over $500 is not reasonable because a person should be in the 50-60% average ROI on a tin. We know ripping is a loss leader, but 1200 for a Tin is absolutely ridiculous.

edit: I suppose 21/22 has the same problem with its 2 big guns slowing down. There is a very large second tier of guys that are producing though. |

Not to say I'm not also big on a bunch of the 21-22 guys, but I was pretty surprised to see that Seth Jarvis (34 in 45) is basically tied w/ Caufield (35 in 46) and Raymond (35 in 46) among all the guys in the set. Although I'd probably still lean Seider & Byfield as my top two prospects .. and have literally no clue on Zegras at this point. |

I'm mildly concerned about both classes. But to risk it for the rip I'd say something like 21-22 Premier at 198 or BD at 224 is what I'll be looking at. And living in FL they often go on sale at the LCS during the offseason. |

20-21 Ultimate was on sale for $180ish, so I watched some.older breaks on it. Truly shocking # of redemptions, all of which expire March 31, 2024. Felt like a hard pass but buyer beware if you are holding any of these boxes

Stutzle and Jrob are live, I think KK is live as I have an auto of his. Those are your main targets I would think.

You can't go wrong with these, some nice looking cards for the price paid!

Stutzle, Cozens were definitely live. I didn't see any Jrob to know one way or the other. Again for what it's worth - it was fun to watch the old breaks. |

J Rob is live, I pulled patch auto of his. I have a KK introductions auto, were those live? He may have both live and redemptions.

KK does indeed have some cards live and some as redemptions in 20-21 Ultimate, just as some Jrobs are live in 20-21 Cup and some are redemptions.

I am fascinated with the shadows the more cards I see...McTavish doesn't have one, but Zegras and Podkolzin do. Curious how UD got them to align perfectly. |

These cards are really nice, not surprised (with the big names anyway) they're some of the strongest sellers out of this product. Beats the pants off of those awful chemical composition cards.

These are still very, very affordable -- done with the Ducks checklist.
