At this point his median projected outcome is to finish the year with 40 or 41.

The kid has power so he should be able to put 30+ each season. Not sure how his other stats and defense match up to other players.

You say that causally, but that’s an incredibly difficult feat. If he’s at 300 HRs by age 30, that would have him with elite HOF company.

I know there’s Al lot more too it, but he has the fastest bat speed in baseball. Put him around other hitters in a good team though. Potential through the roof,

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan and am buying any good/affordable cards I can snag, I just like to keep my expectations in check.

I just looked and over the last 365 days, Vlad is #4 in wRC+. I'd take that oucome in a heartbeat, although Caminero likely hits for way more power and way less AVG...barring the Miguel Cabrera outcome

True, he will definitely have some down years but the start is there so let’s see how it develops and what position he ends up at.

His median year end projection is up to 43.

He's currently 5th most (tied with Hal Trotsky) for HR in age 21 season. If he hits the # above he would be in sole posession of 2nd. The players currently ahead of him;

Pujols (37)
Bellinger (39)
Acuna (41)
Mathews (47)

Why pay $800+ for a box of 2024 pristine when you can buy this for less than 10% of the box price? Probably better than anything I could pull anyways.
