Off to a 5-2-1 start is pretty good. Considering all the changes to the team. Lets hope they continue to pile up the wins

another all around solid game. nice to see they didn't let down after that big win against NJ the other night.

I'm always quick to give Fleury grief when he folds so I have to give him credit when he's on... 3 shutouts in his last 4 games. very impressive.

All the usual suspects look good again... Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz, Hornqvist (what a great addition), Dupuis, etc. And I really like how Despres is starting to make himself known, glad they stuck with him.

5 games road trip, hope they can hang tough.

It's crazy if you look at the top 12 scorers in the league right now. Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz, Hornqvist all in the top 12!

Does this shutout really count though? I mean the Sabres have already been shut out 5 times this season and have scored just 13 goals in 12 games. Shutting out the Sabres is like allowing 3 goals to a regular NHL team.

no doubt that the Sabres look pretty awful. but considering he also shutout the Preds and the Kings in the past week, you can't deny he's playing well.

wow, great game so far. goals from Despres, Sutter & Downie... got to love that.

also nice to see a Pens team that can stand up for itself. Winnipeg is hitting and for the past few years that would have taken Pittsburgh off their game. great to see guys like Downie, Bortuzzo and Despres standing up.

Nice 6-1 lead going into the 3rd. I would hate to be a Sabres fan right now.
