It's saddening to think that the only way I'll be able to watch my favorite Eagles play again is through watching highlight videos on YouTube

The only two wide receivers that I feel could 100% come in and replicate/go beyond Maclin's production without losing a step are Kevin White and Dorial Green-Beckham. We would need to trade up for White so that's not happening, and unfortuantely I don't see Chip taking Dorial either because of his character concerns. But both of those guys will likely do better than Maclin IMO, and I hope we find a way to address this problem. Some people are saying "we have Matthews and Huff to fill in." That's great, but you need to take into account injuries and other unforeseen problems. Bottom line is that we need one or two more receivers. Once again, this is why I hope we do not trade up for Mariota. This team needs these draft picks for a variety of positions and depth (RB, WR, CB, S, OL), and QB is not one of them.

What makes matters worse is that their best WR, Matthews, plays in the slot.

So we have Riley Cooper and Josh Huff lining up on the outside right now.

Maclin is going to get his $11 million. I love the guy, but that's pretty steep.

Brandon Graham is staying! Yes! Great move! Kiko, Kendricks, Barwin, and Graham. That's insane!

Closes the door on a potential Worlids deal which I guess would have cost close to that anyways.

Where did you see that?

So what did we start with. 50 million in cap?

Maxwell for 11
Gore for 5
Sanchez for 2.5 or whatever but up to 8
Graham for 7.5

What WR's are still on the market?

Eagles investing a reported $14-million guaranteed in OLB Brandon Graham, who's never had more than 5.5 sacks in any of his 5 NFL seasons.

Its tough to sit through 5 minutes of Skip and Stephen A.S. show. Everything they say makes them look like morons.

Love the subliminal bias in this tweet. Clearly this guy hasn't watched any of the Eagles games, because every Eagles fan knows that Graham is one of the best pass rushing 3-4 OLBs in the game (even PFF confirmed it) and always makes an impact whenever he's out there. This was actually a cheaper price than what I thought he would go for. Once he gets increased volume, he will look more productive on the stat sheet.

One great season and he is already one of the best in the game

First few years no Graham definitely wasn't phenomenal. But last couple he's definitely stepped it up! 5.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbled and in a backup role? Good production if you ask me. Barwin and Graham on the edge, Kiko and Kendricks inside... Sounds good as long as nobody gets hurt. Makes me think Demeco is a goner.

Gore may be going to Indy now. He's apparently got cold feet about joining the Eagles...

Can't say I blame him. Settled QB, offense that is clearly a running back away from being next level. The Colts are a great football team ready to make the jump. The Eagles... not so much.

Still livid regardless. Don't tell a team you're coming there and then say oh just kidding. I hope he tears an ACL.

Coming from someone who's torn his ACL, I don't wish it on anyone. It sucks. But yeah him backing out is messed up. Wondering if it has anything to do with Stephen A. Smith

Hence why people need to take all the rumors going around with a grain of salt until tomorrow. It's just speculation until pen meets paper.

Gore would have been a nice fit, but they will hopefully move on with their $5 million and grab another back. The draft is deep at WR and RB, which are now obvious holes. As long as Chip doesn't blow it all up for MM, they will hit both of those needs.

Honestly, I was kind of sad when we got him. Not because of talent or anything, but just because I know what he means to the 49ers fan base. He's one of those guys that has been their workhorse for a decade, and every 49er fan loves him. I felt bad taking one of those "hometown heroes" from the 49ers, as he was a guy I think a lot of people thought would play their entire career in San Fran. It was like the equivalent of Dawkins going to the Broncos after his years as an Eagle...it just didn't feel right.

Really man? I know it's not cool to back out on a deal, but that's pretty low right there...

Heck, he hasn't even backed out yet. He's just not 100% committed still...

Do you even watch Eagles games? This was his first "big season" but that's only because we were using him correctly for the first time in his whole career. If you opened your eyes, you'd know that Graham makes an impact pretty much every time there's a pass play. He doesn't get the sacks on the stat sheet, but he's always the first to put pressure in the QBs face and force him to make a bad decision. He was graded as one of the best 3-4 OLBs last season, and he didn't even play half the snaps.

Wonder if this had anything to do with the rumored Kaepernick Chicago/Philly trade or lack there of?

If he ends up in Philly do you still want him to tear his ACL?
