It's a simple process here. Did the Angels make an offer to one of the best players of all time before he hit free agency? Of course. Did the Angels make at minimum an under market offer at a key number to one of the best players of all time? 13/600 sounds about right. There's no way they were going to insult him with a 500 number

His agent floated Toronto as a possible landing spot in an attempt to get more money from the Dodgers. Still waiting to see if it works or not. For a moment we thought Ohtani was flying to Toronto, but that turned out to be just the guy from Shark Tank. That’s really about it.

Anything is possible, but I would just be so surprised if he doesn’t end up with the Dodgers. They’re the only team (besides the Yankees) that can not only afford him, but afford to continue and try to stay competitive every year he’s with them.

Doubtful, losing sucks, so the Angels suck. With the Dodgers, the chance for a World Series or more is very high. San Francisco builds competitive teams too and he would be The Man in that franchise.

The dodgers div is also much weaker even given ari success last year. Padres are cutting salary, col is a mess, sf is still trying to build....something. even though la has no pitching right now they still prob win that div easy
