Just a bizarre 10th inning in a strange game all around. Baserunning snafus galore! But Soto got on base 4 times and made a really nice running catch in the field, so good game for him.

I used to think this was the case but it seemed to have no affect on Tatis' BC Auto prices despite being in a White Sox uniform and everything else in a Padres uni. Impossible to say for sure but the multiples of his BC Auto to TC Auto prices and other benchmarks were in line with other players

be way better for his hobby value if he was in Boston. He'd always be a championship contender. washington market is weak also.

People always said this about the Red Sox but where's the evidence it's true? Look at Xander and especially Devers prices. They do not seem to getting any "team premium" and are priced where you'd expect for their performance+age. Devers probably even a bit cheap

Nationals payroll rankings the past 3 years: 11, 7, and 5. Ted Lerner is also 95 and probably soon to croak so he has even more incentive to spend for a World Series

But they give insulting low offers that can make players upset. They just did it to Turner. They for sure did it with Harper. Not sure about Rendon if it was insulting offer but it was lower then market.

Sure they set records with Strasburgs contract. But not sure they will build around him outside of pitching more.

Washington as a city just isn't a great sports market. I'm thinking long term, it would be more beneficial for him to be in a larger market, in terms of both exposure and team building.

Here are my 'Gold Rush' Updates. I used to have 6 gems and 4 mints as I bought as many as I could when update released. Snagged all 10 raw for under $500 back then.

I’m biased as a Giants fan, but it could certainly work. Especially with the closing of the McCovey Cove arches making it easier to hit homers to right, Soto could bring the splash back in style for the first time since Bonds.

The issue is Washington would never trade him. But they've waited too long to extend him already, he's going to be expecting Lindor money + years.
