The toploader answer was my favorite. Appears they were using purchase price as the reference value for the $50 threshold. So if you had purchased a 2011 Update Trout for $40 five years ago, it wouldn’t have been placed in a toploader unless a COMC employee recognized the value. Brilliant stuff. And then when called out on the toploader issue, he challenged the guy to find another company who could ship out cards with toploaders!

Anyone know how long it takes for COMC to link your eBay account to pay for an auction with credit from your account? It said you couldn’t request the link until you won an auction. I won one Sunday and requested to link it but no movement so far. Thanks.

Mine was immediate, but that was when they first rolled it out; if you didn't get an answer to an email in a day to auctions@comc.com , try giving the new Support button on the site a try.

Feels like people will be screened or something because if they aren't, I'd venture to guess it'll be a long day for him.

Anyone know the typical turnaround from Picking to Packaging/Checking when COMC is fulfilling a shipment? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone here happen to send in multiple shipments at the same time?

Bc of shipping costs, when i send in 2000 cards or so, I typically do 3 660cts in 2 different medium flat rate boxes. This is the first time where they were both delivered at the same time (yesterday) but i only one was processed as arrived. I know it hasnt been a long time, just odd that it happened. Both packages are marked as delivered, just wondering if anyone has happened to see that among their submissions.

Are your ebay and COMC User ID's the same? They need to be for the accounts to be linked.

If that is a requirement, it's not listed on their eBay auction FAQ page. I have not heard of that before.

I would estimate between 4 and 512 days.

In all seriousness, there's no rhyme or reason to it right now.

Sorry, I was incorrect, the same username isn't a requirement.

However, you must use the same email address for both your eBay and COMC accounts, as stated on the Linked eBay Accounts page.

I expect you may be in the same boat as me, but I have a 20ish card order that they said they started picking yesterday. Expected ship date is now 8/19; probably doesn't mean much but it's something

They go through and pick a hundred thousand cards at a time now, then use the electronic sorter with the bar code scanner to separate them into specific packages. So if your order is in picking status, it theoretically is being grabbed at this point along with all the others from thousands of other orders, to be collated and then disseminated into the proper packages. So I'd say that's a good sign that you got your emails.
I know many would like to see them make more progress on all those February orders that are still in limbo because they misplaced a large chunk of cards from those and seem to still be trying to unravel it.

That’s not true. Mine aren’t the same and it was approved. I had to email them about it and they took care of it immediately.

I kept trying to submit it through their website but they weren’t approving the link or I should say they hadn’t gotten around to it. They took longer than they should have to do it but once I emailed them, it was all good.

Sent them two emails regarding a partial refund on rushed shipping for 7 orders they were late on. Just got an email and they are going to refund me $56. That'll work I guess. It'll pay for the items I'm getting ready to send home via rushed shipping. Then I should have nothing in my account I want to send home .

They must be taking a hit with these refunds. I had a rushed order that was very late... I was willing to give them a window, since we know it's hard times for them, but there's got to be a limit. All I asked for was a partial refund - the difference between the rushed shipping I paid and the regular shipping rate. When they finally responded they refunded me the total amount I had paid.

Just an update that they responded and were able to link my accounts. Also my emails are different but they figured it out. Happy with the response. Here’s what I got:

I just sent home almost 900 cards. Estimated delivery November 4th. Completely unacceptable for paying almost $250. But whatever. I'm still waiting on my rushed order from april. It's now been over 3 months to have three cards sent. If they can't get three cards out in 3 months God only knows what they're going to do with these...

Don't you love it when *raise* the price on a card and it sells right away? Nothing big, but I had a card I bought for 43 cents, repriced it at a buck, sat for a while, noticed it yesterday and thought "eh, this is a hot card without anyone else selling it lower" and raised it to a $1.50 and it sold this morning, lol. Just wish I could do that on cards that are worth 10-20 fold more.

Anyone else seeing the # ahead drop rapidly? I had an order from March 7 that was originally expected to ship June 21. They pushed it out until August 25th but just got an email saying it was getting ready to ship. The status now changed to "picking." Anyone else seeing something similar despite my expected ship date well into end of August?

I hope there are more with a similar experience. Would be a huge sign of hope for the future

I haven't put in any shipping requests, but I did submit some cards for "16 week" processing, and many of them have been processed far ahead of schedule. I had approximately 1200 cards originally due October 5. Over 700 of them have been processed, 3 months ahead of the due date.

Hopefully, this sort of thing is happening with shipping as well. As obnoxious as it is to have a November due date for an order placed in July, it seems likely that it will ship ahead of schedule.
