Hoskins Highlights?
Dang that’s a pretty tame enticement bonus.
Shoulda been Sandy A. instead. He had 2 CGSO last year.

Dropped about $220 on retail ($120 Target, $100 Walmart). Opened only the Target so far (9 hangers, 5 fatties). 3 Yordan RCs and a Bichette photo SP.

I always say rip, but they seem to be selling pretty high.

I don’t know about everyone else, but this year’s S1 has been a lot of fun to rip with all the inserts and RCs.

Isn’t the PKG code on the back different to the generic hanger?

It's been fun doing a little breaking for me to switch things up but I don't feel the urge to do any more retail. Can't speak for hobby/jumbo but in retail it just feels like you have to get pretty lucky just to even get your money back. When the key rookies are only going for $5 or so and it's long odds to hit any of their parallels, it just doesn't seem like a great proposition.

I bought a bunch of hangers and boxes from Walmart. Opened 3 hangers and was disgusted by the contents. I returned the rest. I dont get the Rhys Hoskins inserts at all. I was disappointed when I saw the second insert in the first pack, then I got two more in the second and figured out what was going on. Never would've occurred to me that Rhys Hoskins would be a selling point.

Best pull was a Tatis Home Run Challenge which will be fun but not $35 worth of fun. I got one base Yordan and a base Lux. I'll have to go back to check for short prints.

On the other hand the hobby box and jumbo box I opened on Wednesday were a lot of fun. Didnt come close to making my money back but the rip was well worth the money. Just cant say the same for these hangers.

Just my opinion but those that want make good money should stock up on series 1. Product is still relatively cheap and can only grow imo.

What are you referring to? Hobby/jumbo? And you mean to hold unopened?

Oh, agreed. This is purely a for-fun break.

Wife picked up 4 hangers from Walmart tonight. Best cards are a Turkey Red Chrome Yordan, Brendan McKay SP photo variation, Turkey Red Chrome Eloy; 2 Bo, 2 Aquino, 1 Lux and 1 Hoerner base RC’s. I think I came out a tad bit ahead which is rarely the case with small samples of retail.

I’m set building so nothing is FS/FT at the moment.
