Rookie cards refer to players’ first cards once they make their Major League debut. In most cases, rookie cards are stamped with some kind of designation (e.g. “RC”) on the front or back, and that designation will appear on the card that same year as the debut or, in some cases, the following year.

Players can have dozens of rookie cards - especially if they are a highly-touted prospect that manufacturers want to feature in their products. Rookie cards are highly coveted by collectors and tend to be much more valuable than cards produced later in a player’s career. If a player has several different rookie cards, they will usually vary in value, and collectors will reach a consensus as to which rookie card is most important - and thus, most valued.

What is Topps saying? Buy more cards of course! (just don't blame someone else if it turns out you bought the wrong ones)

Remaining base set needs and duplicates available for trade. Will consider buying outright as well but first priority is to trade duplicates.

With TC Lite boxes being available for $64.99 per on Topps.com (and with free shipping), I've just decided to move one of my two remaining LF cases for $5200 shipped. Though I'm high on LF, the discounted TC Lite box price presented an opportunity that I had to take advantage of (though risky, I thought it was worth it).

So, for those interested, here's an update to my LF play (from what started as a little over $9000 spending into 166 boxes):

I've recouped most of my cost and am now into the following for ~$375:

- 44 x 2022 TC LF BB boxes (including a sealed case)
- 12 x 2022 TC Cosmic BB boxes (sealed case)
- 30 x 2022 TC Lite BB boxes
- 9 x 2022 Topps Mini BB boxes
- 17 boxes worth of LF singles excluding a couple that I've sold or traded away (near complete base set too)
- 1 x 2022 TC Cosmic Steven Kwan Blue Moon /99 (PC card)

The plan is to hold the TC LF and TC Cosmic sealed cases for the long-term, flip the TC Lite and Mini boxes in the short/mid-term (hold/rip a couple of each too) and use any funds from the latter play to throw at other products and select PC cards.

I don’t think you’re talking about me, but I do believe all that. If not for 21BB I think the Logofractor Julio would be a rookie card because it’s numbered as part of the base set.

I sent an email to the nyc store about a week ago amd asked to be on the list. They just called and was able to buy 4 boxes. With tax and shippng was 230 ish.

So try to email. They might do a few more rounds.

They didn't get my order into Fedex hands for one week after the label was printed. Maybe the holiday messed with their scheduling.

They've said it for a while. It doesn't mean a thing. I've secured an order with them even when the voicemail said the list is closed.

Didn't hear anything on the "order by phone" voicemail about it being closed when I called yesterday. Left a message with my info and they called me back pretty fast.
