Angels are also thinking of moving Trout to a corner outfield:

Both Adell and Marsh have been playing a lot of CF lately.

Moron didn't even know what he pulled.

Call me skeptical but I don’t know about these “live pulls” at the national. Didn’t they open a single pack of like ‘51 Bowman not long ago and pull the Mantle? Now a single box of ‘11 Update hobby and they pull a black Trout? The odds of this happening are next to zero.

Just pulled an Allen and Ginter Trout redemption from 2021 Clearly Authentic. Box came from none other than Blowout Cards. Best dealers on the planet... LFG

Mike Trout told reporters that he was "encouraged" by the latest MRI results.

Well, that's nice to hear. Trout continues to try and come back from the Grade 2 strain of his right calf, and positive news is positive news. There's still no timetable for when Trout is even going to start running, however, and that means there's no timetable for when the perennial MVP candidate will be back for the Halos.

Found an old hard drive buried in a drawer and it had a folder called eBay. I was hoping I would find the scan of the Ginter Auto I pulled back in 2014 and stupidly sold for $600.

Hopefully one of you guys picked it up and gave it a good home!

Ouch!

Edit... found a better scan

Wanna see a guy pull a 2011 Trout Update Black /60 and have no idea that he just pulled the biggest card ever...

Crazy!

Crazy!
There's another thread on this very video, but yeah, crazy.

I look at cards of Trout's like that and then look at my Superfractor and feel inadequate against a flagship paper! Gorgeous card.

Apparently it graded same day with PSA as an 8.....that's a bummer, but I'm sure it will still pull a nice premium if sold...

Thanks for the update on the grade!

While a PSA 9 or 10 would have been great for the owner, this case is a friendly reminder of how condition sensitive these cards are. For these black parallels (and the golds), a PSA 8 is a solid grade.

I have no doubt someone will purchase it and it will reside in a 10 holder soon. There is too much money to be made and nobody seems to care.

Any grade is a good grade on that card

No...I'm saying that the box came from somewhere... who held it and let it be apart of the break at the National?

Is someone keeping an eye on that person?

What I’ve learned is much of the time - if a guy misses 6-8 weeks, it’s not a linear timeline where a guy is going to be ready to go; maybe it’s more like time passing to see if the injury got worse, not the actual recovery time.
