Guess I can't wait for you all to be hit with those 1099s from COMC and COMC to get hit by the IRS. Someone may be enjoying a nice finders fee. Had I ran my business like COMC and on EBAY I would have been banned. Free to have my own opinion here. |

Anybody notice that the inventory is just dripping in. We have 3 large shipments that we have added to COMC and I noticed that for the last week we are getting like 1 card here and 2 cards there coming in instead of the usual. Usually we get large uploads of 300 cards at a time added to inventory, but for some reason we have been getting one here and one there is anybody else having this issue.

well I hate to break the news to you, it is not up to COMC to report your income to the IRS it is up to you. I report mine. If you do not report your income that is your problem when you get audited.

Could it be because Ebay is a cesspool of trash and probably the worst place to sell online..........Comc may have issues but it is still 100 times better company than ebay.

seriously. COMC deals with buyers and shipping. That in itself makes it worth it to use.

Don't have to deal with buyers, shipping, ridiculous questions by potential (and non-potential) buyers as well as saving hours and hours of free time from scanning and listing each card myself. Also the cross promotion of most cards being on COMC, Ebay and Amazon to potential new buyers. It really is an easy job to stick with them and keep sending more |

Doesn't matter. I never really sold much on there anyway.

I only seemed to sell Pokemon or GPK cards through Amazon. So it doesn't bother me that it's gone either. I think once they got eBay, they were having problems trying to keep track of sales and removing listings across all three.

Has anyone besides me looked at the eBay feedback lately? Looking like they have righted the ship there for sure. 38 negative in the last month out of over 26,000. Much better than the past.

I’ve noticed my cards sold to eBay relative to total sales have gone up quite a bit lately, definitely a good sign.

Just sent my first package of over 100 cards to COMC! Are there any posts with tips for selling on COMC in here? I've been trying to search around the forum but haven't found anything yet.
Also, I'm noticing that for some reason a card will get uploaded here and there. I'm not complaining because I didn't expect any to get uploaded until Feb 2022. Is this usually how it goes? I guess I had expected it to be a batch upload.

How fast is COMC now in regards to shipping cards to you? I've bought a few that I would rather have in person than on COMC. I'm not in a rush to get them, but I don't want to ship them and have them stuck in shipping limbo for a few months either. I haven't had anything from COMC shipped to me in over a couple years so I have no clue what to expect any more.
On a side note, when I added the cards to shipping, it actually said they would have them to me by November 1st. Is that even close to accurate or will it still take much longer than that? Thanks in advance to everyone for the help! |

Expedited or Rushed shipments seem to be on time. Basic shipments are taking a few months still, but their goal is to reduce that to 1 month timelines before Black Friday, per the monthly email that Julia is now sending out. They have definitely cut through most of their backlog, and seem to have figured out where to purchase toploaders. I guess their million dollar sorting machine(s) and personnel adds have finally started doing the trick.

I sent them a basic shipment a month or so ago and roughly 35% have been processed.
I haven't even had a chance to price those yet. For it being a month I'm happy.
