My friend just posted a message that he was afraid to drive downtown tonight in fear of a “racist cop” pulling him over.

OR.... how about, A cop might pull you over because it’s after curfew and your breaking the law?!?

This is where I am starting to really get pissed even with close friends. Seriously, you are going to purposely go break the law and be out after curfew, but in your mind if a cop says anything, they are racist.

Yea I am getting really pissed off with not just protesters that are out after curfew but even just other individuals that choose to be out at that time as well for whatever other reason they have. They defy orders and then they are surprised if cops start to use teargas or shoot them with rubber bullets. We are in a state of emergency right now and everyone needs to comply in order for the police and national guard to maintain order and stop the looters/vandals. Every person that is out after curfew is contributing to either diverting the attention of the police or they are providing cover for the troublemakers.

Another friend tweeted that white people dragged blacks here, black people built this country, so they have every right to burn this country down to ashes.

Statements like that I think are going to triple the racism in the country not stop

Honest question here just out of curiosity...

How long do you guys think all these mass protests will continue to go on for?

They have to stop at some point, I really don't know if it will be a matter of days or if it might go on for another week or two (or more?).

Usually a couple weeks is how long these things last until they get tuckered out and find something else to be outraged about.

Minneapolis was calm last night so now the problems are just the cities that can't help themselves from being stupid - NYC, Philly, California everything. Will definitely be worse if they can't charge him with murder and have no grounds for the other 3 cops.

The protests have yet to have actually useful suggestions for fixing things, just whining for attention and breaking stuff
